Husband and wife team Walt and Maire met through the wine industry where until 2011 they'd spent their entire careers. CapaBunga was originally created as innovative packaging for their Napa Valley wine. Quickly they saw the potential of a cap that would seal a wine bottle like a bung does a wine barrel and started selling them customized to many wineries in Northern California where they live. In 2012 they launched a consumer line of CapaBungas with catchy slogans and graphics -they were an instant hit. They had many requests for a like minded product for Champagne and CapaBubbles was launched in 2014. Their latest product is GlassWhere - wine glass identifiers - it does not slip off your glass when you drink or clank against your glass when you swirl. You can also write on them with a ballpoint pen and wipe off for reuse. These wine industry veterans sure know a thing or two about drinking wine -they like to say "we solve your drinking problems"
