Reflections of Italy

The owner Hans Cook came to look at my home to give an estimate & said he'd send suggestions of Ramobio Limewash colors. I never received any colors from him so I sent Hans what the Designer's choice to paint the brick before discovering Ramobio Limewash. Hans said SW7014 color was a good limewash color too & assured me we'd test it in sunlight etc & could make changes accordingly. Due to a cancellation, he started project early & said he'd begin by pressure washing brick. I was busy working & when my first look, Hans had already done the retention wall in back of home & the side of my home, without testing an area, I immediately texted saying it was too light & opaque. He said it was only first coat & there'd be more coverage. Not knowing the process of limewash, I allowed the project to continue. The last section he Limewashed was the front of the home (which was the most critical & should've been where he tested & began the project). I immediately saw the limewash clashed with the stone & asked him if he was getting ready to do the next coat & coverage & he said no that he was finishing the job. I told him the color on brick clashed with the stone & he agreed saying my only option was to limewash the stone. Never once did Hans attempt to change or adjust the color & when he saw the limewash clashed with the stone, he finished without any attempt to change. In fact, the back retention wall ended up being lighter with less coverage than darker as I asked. This was on June 30th. The Designer came to try & work on solutions & I asked him to call Hans. Hans answered & once he knew it was the designer I hired & not a new customer, he said he was busy out of town & was very dismissive. I also called Hans & he didn't answer but I left a voicemail asking him to call me asap. This was on 07/15. It is now 08/12 & Hans has never once tried reaching out to me or Michael, the designer (which I found Michael through Houzz). I've contacted Ramobio Limewash & they couldn't help me either except to say they'd call Hans & ask him to contact us which they did but no repsonse. Ramobio Limewash had recommended Hans Cook to my neighbor but they told me he was just a painter who used their product. I would never recommend this company. I'll share a few photos. They missed sections of brick in several places, left spray paint on my wrought iron fence, left paint lids in driveway & took my water hose. They didn't pressure wash my stone & I had to hire a company to remove the limewash residue. Overall, we are at a stand still & not one returned call from Reflections of Italy. Very disappointing.
