Hello and welcome to MJL Decorating Services. I have 33 years experience in the decorating trade, having served a 4 year apprenticeship, gaining City & Guilds qualification in both craft and craft advanced Painting & Decorating and also sign work. Decorating is a passion of mine and gives me a great sense of pride and satisfaction. I have a wide range of experience in every aspects of the trade, and a good knowledge of all trade products, which is key in today's marketplace . I pride my self on a very high finish, but the service I provide is also very important to me, keeping my clients updated and informed is of paramount importance to me. I pride myself on keeping the workplace clean and tidy and my Hoover is a very important part of my toolbox. MJL decorating services believe preparation is the art of all decoration work and use both Mirka & Festool professional sanding machines attached to the Mirka dust extraction sanding unit as much as possible to keep the dust to a bare minim but with excellent preparation results . Hand painted kitchens and furniture are of particular interest to me, I really enjoy getting a huge amount of job satisfaction from hand painted kitchens & furniture, and highly enjoy the high level of preparation and needed to get the high level finish within these jobs.
