I hired Andy because he had 5 good reviews and he “verbally” sold me on his company and professionalism. I have a 5000+ SF home. We were doing some major renovations and needed the house painted. We were also removing and replacing lights fixtures and moving electrical outlets and switches. Andy was responsible to repair the drywall and paint the main floor and upstairs hall/loft and TV room. Several problems came up during the course of the work. They had to make repairs to drywall 2 to 3 times as often times the seams were exposed, walls were not smooth, and where larger light fixtures were removed and smaller ones were put in place, there were exposed holes around the light fixtures. As for the paint, they painted some walls the incorrect color and often times, they tried to get by with one coat of paint that did not provide full coverage over the old paint color. I did a walk through with Andy prior to moving in and went over all the issues. He understood the problems said he would come back after we moved in to finalize. I had some reservations about this because I told him I did not want paint on new carpet, new wood floor and on the furniture--which I thought would be in the way. Nor did I want a lot of work being done over new carpet. He was insistent. He said he has a very professional crew and often times they are painting in occupied homes. He further said often times movers would chip paint when moving in furniture or the carpet/floor installer would damage the baseboards or walls during install. He was adamant that final touch up should be completed after flooring was installed and after we move in. So I went with his suggestion. Well after moving in, I had to call Andy several times to come back. He even stood me up on one occasion with no call/explanation! When he finally came he said he was not responsible for any touch up paint, except for the kitchen (where I had hired someone else to repair his shabby drywall repair). I told Andy he did not even have to keep his promise and paint the walls that movers damaged (which was very few) But instead, he needed to repair his work that was not completed. Which was to paint the many areas where there was only one coat of paint applied and there was not full coverage of the walls as well as correct one wall that was painted the wrong color. Needless to say, he left without completing his job. I could not in good conscious ever hire or refer Andy Luna Brothers Painting as he failed to honor his word, complete his contract and simply complete a good paint job.

I hired Andy twice in the last year. The first project was to paint the exterior of my house, and the second project was to paint a large upstairs bedroom. The exterior project also included some carpentry. I was very pleased with both projects. The quality of work was excellent and the price was reasonable. Andy has a good design sense. He very diligent and pays attention to details. The workers were punctual and very polite. I would highly recommend Luna Brothers.

I hired a company to stain my custom made bar and had to fire them for almost ruining it. I was referred to Luna Brothers who came and fixed the other guys mistake and it turned out beautiful.
