CHJ did a great job on our enclosed porch. We needed a new ceiling and painting. Chris suggested stained ribbed plywood for the ceiling, and explained why he recommended it. I really appreciated that he suggested a better way to approach the ceiling. The porch looks amazing. CHJ did the ceiling, painting and floor installation. They are easy to work with, the work is high quality, and the prices are reasonable. Will be calling them again!

They gave me a fair price and they worked quickly and efficiently. They were able to fit me into their schedule quickly as well.

I've used CHJ several times for work on my condo (an amazing gut master bathroom rehab, crown moulding installation, drywall repair, painting and tuckpointing). Most recently, they installed, finished and sealed a gorgeous ceiling to our back deck, using decorative bead-board that Chris hand-selected himself. They turned an eyesore into a gem! Chris and his team are total professionals. They show up exactly on time and clean up the work areas at the end of each day. Incredibly, on this recent job, our back porch stairs came loose on one side. Chris immediately gave me an estimate, called two guys from another job and repaired/secured the dangerous steps within a few hours. Making it safe again. He didn't have to do it, but he did. I cannot recommend CHJ Painting and Remodeling enough! Don't think twice. Just call him. -Jeff N.

Got my estimate done very quickly and professionally. CHJ communicated with me the whole time throughout the length of the project and effectively answered any questions I had regarding my remodel. The final work was done beautifully and on a timely basis as promised! I am very glad with the work done by CHJ and will not only use them again in the future but have also already recommended them to my family and friends.

Did a great job on my 3-flat investment property in Rogers Park. They painted the interior stairwell, utility room and also power washed and stained the deck. They got the job done fast and for a reasonable price. Don't cause yourself a lot of headache getting a cheap/sloppy paint job. Go with CHJ instead!

After one phone call we got our estimate the next day. When we returned the signed contract the workers were on the job the following day. Our exterior painting project was done beautifully and very quickly. Great job.

I highly recommend CHJ Painting and Remodeling. Chris and team painted all of our first floor Pella window frames, trim and doors white, transforming our home from tired looking and dated to a clean, fresh, contemporary home. Their attention to detail and high quality work was truly exceptional. Chris was an absolute pleasure to work with and his team was very professional and courteous. Chris gave us a great price and really delivered on results!

I would recommend CHJ Painting and Remodeling. They did a great job paining, fixing drywall and tiling a bathroom. All work was completed timely. Crew went out of their way to protect the hardwood floors and kitchen cabinets.

Chris and his team did a fantastic job on our kitchen update. We installed new countertops, a new farmhouse sink and a new faucet. All was completed on time and with the budget we agree upon! We will be contacting Chris again in the future for other projects.
