When time to repaint the house I knew we would only contact CertaPro as we are the third house in our family to have them do the job. I later learned that one of my dear friends had also use CertaPro and was pleased with the outcome. The painters were neat and orderly and very detailed in covering windows etc. before getting started. We are so thankful for their hard work and getting the job done so quickly. Pressure wash day one, most all the painting done on day 2, (ran out of day light) and were back the morning of day 3 to complete the trim work. Thanks to Spencer and Sherwin Williams with the extra help getting the original paint colors matched. We highly recommend CertaPro .

Gary’s team was the best! Our 47 year old home looks refreshed and new with the beautiful top quality paint and repair job. Shannon gave us direction with colors and she was spot on. Thank you CertaPro for the excellent job and friendly service.

The entire process from bid, to prep to painting and cleanup was painless. We got bids from several different companies. The Certapro bid From Gary was the most detailed, catching all of the carpentry fixes that were needed. Options were provided for higher quality paint. Although they were not the lowest the detail,of the bid gave me confidence that the job would be well done. Jeff, who coordinated the job with the crew was on top of things and kept us informed when there were a couple of short delays because of current jobs taking a couple of days longer than they anticipated. He checked and double checked everything to be certain that everything was as anticipated. Christian who was the lead of the painting crew coordinated the other painters well. He had a crew of six that worked well and efficiently. The entire job took three days, which was anticipated. The first two days they didn’t leave until after 6 at night. The job was faultless. They did a very detailed walk around afterwards to make sure everything was as expected. Their cleanup on a daily basis and after the job was done was flawless. I contacted the manger after they pressure washed because I saw dirt mold and cobwebs and nothing was done to fix it. The contract stated they would do another 3 step cleaning process on the siding. They painted right over the shingles without any cleaning. The color consultant assured me the colors would not have pink under tones. I choose a grey. It came out mauve. They did not paint the flashing when I inquired, they told me they didn’t paint flashing however offered to paint it for another cost. Once they did paint it it dripped on the siding and the deck. I usually do my own painting and staining because the house is flat and square, a simple easy paint job. I assumed that a $10,000 paint job would be professional and I was wrong it was a litany of errors, disappointments and frustrations. I currently have a tremendous amount of mold on my deck. I have never had that much mold on my deck and I have been in my home for 26 years.

CertaPro was very helpful for us! We bought a home that needed a lot of exterior work. All the people who we worked with were helpful, friendly, and very responsive. In addition, because we had to choose paint color, stain color and garage doors, we found their color consultant to be a huge help for making decisions. She came to our house with swatch books and it was all included in the price! I would choose them over and over again.

I recently had CertaPro painters do some update interior painting for me in our family room. Shannon did an amazing job getting the project set up. Joseph, the painter for our job was meticulous, thorough and efficient. The room looks beautifully refreshed. I will definitely have CertaPro and Joseph return for continuing updates.

Gary House and his team at CertaPro Painters of Tacoma went above and beyond on a quick turnaround for a rental property. The estimate was very thorough and complete and Gary sent a confirmation of all the items we'd discussed along with photos. Communication was terrific throughout the project with check-ins and updates. In addition to painting the interior of the home, Gary's team powerwashed and treated the exterior decks. Gary made a great recommendation for a hearty deck covering that will help protect and preserve those outside areas. My husband has been a painter previously and typically feels he can do a better job. Not the case here...he was genuinely impressed and remarked, "Looks like we've found our painters!". We will certainly hire CertaPro Painters of Tacoma again and give them our highest recommendation.

We highly recommend CertaPro and we are very happy with their painting services and their staff. Spencer was very professional and walked us through their painting process which made the project from start to finish stress free. The painters were very efficient and did a great job. They always cleaned up each day they were on site and made sure that all surfaces were painted as per contract.

I hired Certa Pro Painters in Tacoma to paint my house. They gave me a quote that was twice what other companies had quoted but given the extent of prep work agreed to and size of their staff(we were told they had 26 people) we decided to go with Certa Pro. The project was to be started in late August and completed by labor day. After 6 plus weeks of excuses they finally started the job in October. They sent 1 person to our house(this amount of prep work would take a crew of 6 at least a week). That person had no idea as to what prep work is in the contract or anything that was agreed to in the contract. They proceeded to tear apart sections of my house(only to tell me they could not put it back together), replace siding improperly, spray paint on the house without completing the prep that was agreed to in the contract(which is running and bubbling now) and acting like this was all "business as usual" for them. They now want to put our project on hold due to the time of year and weather even though they were 6 weeks late starting it. They also want to write up an addendum to the contract to do less prep work?? My house is now multi colored and damaged and they aren't willing or able to right their wrongs. I believe they are under staffed, under skilled and under bid a job and now want to make it my problem. I'd love to share pictures of the way they have left my house and the quality of work they think is acceptable. ****Update**** Certa Pro and I have come to a mutual agreement that I am satisfied with
