All American Painting Plus

This is our fourth time hiring All American Painting Plus. We continue to be so impressed. From estimators to managers and painters, they are the nicest, most hardworking, professional people who excel at the job they do. We have had them do both interior and exterior work for us and the quality is always exceptional.

The AAP team removed wallpaper that had been painted over. I was nervous about the procedure and the potential damage to the underlying drywall. The team covered all floors and carpeting with plastic and efficiently stripped the paper. The team then prepped the walls and fixed all imperfections in the walls including nail pops. Finally, they applied a seal coat and two coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald paint. The finished project looks fantastic and the team cleaned up all debris. Well done!

All American Painting Plus was an excellent company from the initial quote through all the painting. We had both the outside of our house and several rooms and ceiling inside painted. The painters showed up exactly when scheduled. Gerardo and his crews, both inside and outside were courteous, professional, and hardworking, finishing both jobs in the time expected. The crew inside covered all floors and walls near the areas being painted with plastic. The painting looks great. They cleaned up each evening before leaving. I would definitely use the company again.

We hired All American Painting based on the reviews found in the Fairfax County FY22 Best Picks book. My husband and I are more than pleased with the work done in our home. The quality of work and care taken in assessing the task, repairing, preparing, and painting the walls and ceilings are outstanding! The entire All American Painting staff was very professional, very responsive, and very hands on! We have used three other companies in the last 20 years….all very disappointing and a big waste of money. All American lives up to its high ratings. The company does what it promotes….and more. From the start, the leadership was in constant communication with us. Mr. McCracken’s system of checks and balances ensured that neither side had any surprises. The work team was well prepared with each team player knowing exactly what needed to be done, when, and where. Each team member, from the Painting Consultants (David Fraer and Jonathan) to the team foreman (Gerardo) to the team of painters, demonstrated a strong working knowledge of the trade and expertise in identifying and fixing issues discovered. Gerardo and his team demonstrated great skill in preparing the walls for painting - patching holes, fixing (large) cracks in vaulted ceilings, and caulking seams. Their attention to detail is greatly appreciated. Each team member worked as if he was working on his own home. Thank you! Once the job was completed, the Mr. Fraer came to do a final inspection. He found two minor things – things neither my husband nor I would have noticed – and had them fixed within 24 hours. The work was completed on time, on budget. In the end …. the job was PERFECT! Many thanks to All American Painting. I will be a repeat customer and have already passed on their information to many of my colleagues and neighbors.

I used All American Painting Plus to paint the exterior of our house and I couldn't be happier. Everyone was professional and courteous from the office staff, to the appraisers, to the project manager Jonathan and finally Orlando who completed the work at my house. Assessment of my project was through and the proposal with photographs was easy to follow and explained all details. The team that worked on my house, led by Orlando, powerwashed everything, made minor repairs as needed, did an outstanding job painting and were very friendly. They left my house looking fabulous and the yard spotless as well. The project manager, Jonathan, was wonderful in terms of letting me know when the team would be there and worked closely with me to make decisions on paint colors when needed and patiently answered all my questions. I would definitely use All American again and would highly recommend them.

We are very satisfied with the work recently done by All American Painting Plus on our house. Both the extensive carpentry work and the follow-up painting were all performed in a professional manner by the AAPP staff. The staff arrived at the house early every morning, worked throughout the whole day until late in the afternoon for five days, and diligently cleaned the work areas every evening before departing. Also, the on-site foreman and the project supervisor maintained regular contact with us during the entire work period, keeping us regularly up to date on their progress. With any future painting or carpentry project we may plan in the future, we would definitely hire AAPP to do it.

Extremely professional from sales, administrative, project manager and crew - dedication and pride in n their work can be seen in everyone. Top notch work and customer support. Had a coat of paint removed from a copper roof (painted by a previous owner). I looked around but couldn't find a company I can trust with this tedious job. All American Painting Plus crew carefully took it all off and restored it back to it's gorgeous natural state. I think it increased the value of the house far exceeding the cost to strip the paint! Not to mention improving the curb appeal tremendously. Project manager John was very attentive, and made sure that I want copper that oxidizes naturally, as opposed to paint it in the color copper. It's nice to know that the company takes the time to confirm small details that can have big consequences. Garcia, Richie and Santos are extremely attentive and skilled workers. They are so focused and were on-task. Placed protective sheets everywhere and did not leave a trace of paint or debris behind. I highly recommend All American Painting Plus. I will be a repeat customer for any painting jobs in the future.

This is my second time using All American Painting Plus. The first project was outside, this recent one was inside. Brian, owner came out and gave a detailed, itemized estimate to paint our Family room, kitchen, sunroom and ceiling. They gave us a start date based on our availability. Orlando was their on-site boss. He was also the one that led their team on our outside project 2 years ago so we were so happy to see him again. Orlando is Amazing! He and his team were always on time and always cleaned up each day before leaving. His work and attention to detail is impeccable and our home looks better than what the builder did 26 years ago when we bought our home. John handled the scheduling in the beginning, checked in thru the process and also came by to make sure everything was on schedule and to see if we had any questions. My husband and I were very satisfied, from start to finish AAPP He and I were looking for a company to remove the twenty year old wall paper from our foyer and paint it and our family room.Because our ceilings are two stories high we looked for a company which provides its employees with Workmen’s Compensation as well as Liability Insurances When we met David, who gave us the estimate, we were convinced the company was right for us Geraldo and his crew arrived with Jon, the project manager, on day one to go over the work. The crew arrived early every day, stayed late and cleaned up daily They completed everything on the contract and went the extra mile. Jon was in touch but not needed. Geraldo was the boss. This is the 3rd time that we have used All American painting plus and they have done an outstanding job every time. This time we had our whole basement painted as well as our kitchen ceiling which had some damage. All the work was completed very neatly and the results are beautiful. The crew was very detail oriented and used protection for our new floors and furniture. They prepped all the surfaces before painting and cleaned up impeccably at the end. They were punctual each day and worked efficiently to finish as scheduled. We will definitely continue to call them whenever we need painting done at our house.

We had 5 rooms, 2 stair wells, a hallway, and additional parts repaired and painted by All American Painting Plus and they were very friendly and professional from start to finish. Orlando and his crew were extremely friendly and great to work with. One big part of the job was to remove a textured/popcorn ceiling which turned out to be far more difficult than expected but Orlando’s team found a way to get it done with a very pleasant “no matter what, we’ll find a way” attitude. After much effort by his team I am extremely pleased in the final result with that ceiling as well as everything else throughout the house on which they worked. We would definitely use them again and would recommend the services of All American Painting Plus.

I am very happy with the work done by All American Painting Plus on my townhouse. Rex captured everything we discussed when he did the estimate and was quick to respond to my questions. On the job, Jonathan and Keni also answered all my questions and kept me updated regarding the work. Keni and his crew did a great job painting the exterior and replacing rotted wood in various places. I would hire All American Painting Plus again in the future.

I was completely satisfied with the process and results of my All American Painting Plus crew. I have a large house in a gated, golf course community, with Hardiplank siding and lots of trim. There was a good bit of wood rot on the windows and sills, which the crew also professionally repaired. From Frank, the CEO, to John, our estimator, and especially the painting crew, led by Geraldo, with Elder Ruchie and Alba, everyone was polite, pleasant and professional. These are all hard workers, experts at their craft, and nice, friendly people. I would highly recommend them to others looking for house painters. All American Painting was fantastic. They power washed our house, replaced numerous pieces of rotted wood (some that were very difficult to replace), and painted the outside of our house. From start to finish, All American Painting Plus truly exceeded our expectations. Our interior project included removing/replacing half wall paneling, patching wall board, replacing baseboards, staining window sills & trim, and painting walls & ceilings. Our exterior project involved power washing and staining our deck. The initial estimate reflected our requirements which we effortlessly amended with a change order for additional work. Jon Lester was exceptional in providing timely schedule updates and coming to our home to confirm measurements and requirements. He facilitated the ordering of our paint & stain as well as securing baseboards and quarter round trim. Morgan and his crew were incredible! They were punctual and each day left the house in a cleaner state than it was the day they started the job. Morgan ensured that every aspect of their work met our satisfaction. He even cleaned up a couple errant paint strokes I had left on the crown moulding years earlier to ensure the entire room looked magnificent. His work on our deck was similarly professional: sanding all spindles and surfaces, using brushes and rollers to apply the stain (no spraying!) and even re-securing two sections of lattice. While this was our first experience with All American Painting Plus, it won't be the last. This is a five-star company.

We are totally impressed by the professional work done by the All American Painting Plus team. We had a complicated job which included following EPA standards, that are required in order to paint a 1957 year old home, which had been originally painted with lead paint. The job also involved painting a house that had not seen new paint in over 35 years. Their painting team led by Morgan worked long hours completing our job that we thought would take 5 to 6 days in 4 days. They efficiently removed old wallpaper and wall glue from three rooms before priming the walls and painting. This older home had in many areas half of the wall paneled, which they meticulously painted around without any paint drip issues. Morgan meticulously patched the wall cracks and dings, ensured that his team completed the designated rooms before moving on to the next areas and kept us informed of their work. Morgan's team did the best interior painting job I have ever seen. The area team manager John checked in on the progress of the job numerous times and kept detail records. The results were stunning. I am so glad we signed up with All American Painting Plus.

Anival did drywall repair and painting for us twice and did an outstanding job. It looks as good as new. He arrives on time, covers all the furniture, and cleans up when done. We highly recommend this company.

Painting consultant David Fraer arrived promptly and did a thorough inspection with me of the items that needed power washing, minor repair, and paint. David listened intently and took copious notes as we toured the property. Afterwards he provided me an information pamphlet of the paint products All American Painting Plus uses and highlighted their benefits. The next day David e-mailed me a reasonably-priced estimate that was highly detailed and captured precisely what I wanted done. Shortly after contracting with All American, Project Manager Jonathan contacted me to schedule the work. This was an outside paint job so having good weather and temperature was key, and I was impressed that Jonathan knew what the forecast weather was going to be for the dates we scheduled. For example, part of the scope of work entailed painting a tin roof black on our window bump-out, and Jonathan commented that the paint would require the weather to be above a certain temperature, which he knew it would be. All American estimated three days for the work, but they were able to accomplish everything in about a day and a half. I thought this pretty amazing considering we have a four-story townhouse which meant a lot of ladder climbing. After power washing on day one, Jonathan and his crew chief, Rogelio applied some of the different paints to various parts of the house to ensure I was happy with the color and sheen. Totally satisfied, Jonathan and Rogelio promptly returned the next morning with their crew and worked seemingly non-stop - by late afternoon they were done. In the meantime, I'd venture out to see how the work was going and Rogelio's crew were always hard at, and I appreciated the care they took with drop cloths and other precautions not to make a mess. When the job was complete and I inspected the work with Jonathan, I couldn't be happier with the results. I give All American Painting Plus my highest endorsement, and will most likely be contracting with them again for some indoor work.

From Rex, who did the estimate, to Bayron and his team who did the work, to John, who followed up, I was very happy with them all. The painting project looks great and if/when we need more done, I would probably go with All American Painting. Keep up the good work!

I have used AAPP for two jobs at my office. The first one was a small job and the second was a HUGE job. The crew was amazing. Simply put, All American Painting Plus is awesome. They were extremely professional, courteous, and flexible from the first phone call, all the way through the entire project. Rex was the estimator and was patient, open minded, and knowledgeable. The scope of my project changed multiple times and he went out of his way to research what I wanted and met with me several times, at my convenience, numerous times before the work started. Anival was the painter, and as I told Morgan, the office manager (who was also great), he’s the best painter I’ve had. He was more detail oriented than I am, which is hard to to believe, and was more than flexible working around the other workers who were there at the same time he was. He really did a phenomenal job. I will definitely use them again for my painting needs, and will probably call them to see if they have any references for anything else I need to have done, as the tile guy they recommended was also great. To sum it up, I have no regrets about hiring them, and would recommend them with the highest regards (and I’m picky) to anyone else!

I have used this company for many years on exterior and interior projects. Their staff is professional and their work is impeccable. Most recently I worked with BJ and Anival and they were great. This is one of my "go-to" companies that I trust.

All American Painters were a joy to work with, from beginning to end. We got estimates from three different contractors, but AAP were the only ones to give us an estimate that included every detail, so we knew that there would be no surprises. They were also the only company to be willing to do the job in three phases, and wrote separate estimates for each phase. The painters that came took the time necessary to adequately prep, so the finished job was perfect. They were also very skilled carpenters, and did a beautiful job putting up crown molding and chair rail, framing out a closet, and removing balusters. They were friendly, courteous, skilled, and knowledgeable. When we first booked AAP and sent the deposit, they accidentally charged our account twice. I called immediately and, even though it was after hours and I was only able to leave a message, the error was corrected within a few hours. Professional all the way…HIGHLY recommend!

Overpriced!!! The job involved drywall repair across basement and door replacement. I've had multiple small-large contractors quote me various ranges. Their estimate was $9,000 more than other contractors. I would not call them again.

These guys are great. I hired them for exterior house painting. Not only do they do top notch work, but their communications and estimates are crystal clear and they show up when they say they are coming. I find these qualities hard to come by. Most importantly, the painters were great to work with. Again they clearly communicated what they were doing and what if anything they needed. And bonus: they were really nice people. A Plus outfit!!

Very thorough and high attention to detail. Despite not being the cheapest estimate, I will likely hire them again. Very clean and quickly made repairs to the minor flaws left after the job.

Rene and his crew of 2 worked 4 days to paint and remove wallpaper in our dining room, living room, study, hallway, stairs and foyer. They worked cheerfully and efficiently and completed the job before the estimated time. The work was done perfectly. They arrived on time and at the end of the work day left everything tidy to cause as little disruption as possible. The cost for painting the trim, ceilings, wallpaper removal and walls was reasonable. Brian and BJ estimated the job with an itemized breakdown for every room and paint costs. They also replaced a new chandelier in the dining room.

All American Painting Plus has done several jobs for me. This time it was my kitchen, which has a high gabled ceiling and also had cabinetry that had been done in oil-based paint which needed extra sanding, etc. There also was some patching needed where the walls had shifted away from some brick. As always, the job was done beautifully, professionally, and on-time. I've never had a problem with AAPP and will be using them again.

This is a great company. The team leader, Roger, and his crew, did an outstanding job. Painted 4+ bedrooms, removed wallpaper (4 walls) from a bedroom, painted hallway, closets, doors, stairway. Excellent from 1st contact requesting an estimate, the estimate, scheduling, completing the work and cleanup. I completed and online request for an estimate and was contacted the next business day to schedule the estimate. Estimator arrived right on schedule completed his estimate and emailed me the estimate within 2 days. Estimate was very accurate and covered all areas in need of work. All American Painting Plus use of email and on-line payment process sure expedite the process. Work crew arrived exactly as scheduled and complete their work in a very professional manner. When work was completed the work crew foreman reviewed all the work they had accomplished to ensure we were satisfied with the completed project.

Brian and the All American Painting Plus team did a great job. They were on time for all appointments, produced great quality, and cleaned up the site at the end of the job. While painting the house, they also found additional problems that they couldn't correct but worked with us to find another great contractor who specialized in that area. The job was to clean and paint the house trim with a substantial amount of rotted wood replacement with PVC. The workers always showed up on time and thoroughly cleaned up the work each day. The house cleaning and painting went well. There was a snag with the reconstruction of porch railing that was worked out to my satisfaction under the direct supervision of the owner.

We needed to have a large number of exterior pieces of wood replaced and re-painted. I invited estimates from three different companies, and this firm provided the most detailed and most cost-efficient one. Work started on the date promised and proceeded well. The carpentry and painting was of high quality, and everyone in their crew worked hard, completed their work days, and were courteous to us.

I needed not just a painter, but someone who could help me plan and execute replacement of rotting wood around my front door. All American Painting was helpful in telling me where to buy replacement molding, and coordinated their work upon receipt of the new molding. Their carpentry work was outstanding. They were prompt, professional and I would not hesitate to use them again.

We have used All American Painting Plus before so when we decided to try a new process to rejuvenate our 50 year old aluminum siding, instead of replacing it, we went back to AAPP because we were happy with their work on our house in the past. This new process involved a clear coating over the red oxidized/faded siding to make it look almost brand new. Having no real experience with the product the crew did a fantastic job, being very patient and professional, and we couldn't be happier. All of our neighbors thought we purchased new siding and continue to remark at the results. We now look forward to driving up to our house. I highly recommend AAPP! Brian is very responsive and professional.

I was very happy with the work All American Painting Plus (AAPP) did in painting the interior of our house. Here are my impressions: (1) They were very careful in handling furniture and moving it out of the way, to include completely covering it to ensure no paint was accidentally put on it. This was one of my primary requirements. AAPP met that completely and I'm pretty particular about it; (2) The on-site supervisor remained with the job and was careful to keep me informed on its status; (3) When I asked for additions to the work while in progress, such as extra coats, they accommodated those changes entirely; (4) To keep within my schedule to finish the job as agreed they brought in extra staff and worked longer hours without further cost to me; (5) They were very careful in taking our formal draperies and blinds down and putting them back up when the paint was dry; and (6) They cleaned up after themselves very well and fixed a few paint goofs right away. In summary, all of my requirements were met, and I'm very happy with their work. I didn't realize the difference I would see between having rooms professionally painted in my own custom colors compared to the builder's paint. It really brightened up the whole downstairs area. The results are beautiful. Yes I would hire them again. I would expect the same outcome. Thanks AAPP for an excellent job!

I contacted this company based on recommendation from a neighbor. I found their estimate to be reasonable and contracted them to do the work. As a homeowner of several homes for over 40 years, I found their prep work and overall workmanship the best I have ever experienced. I am happy to recommend this company.

All American Painting Plus has done work both inside (fixing a door) and outside (painting, repairing a fence) my house. In the discussion phase of the work, Brian was easy to communicate with and honest. Then the work was done to high standards. Now AA Painting Plus is my go-to whenever I need something done for my house.

The work was just okay and there were multiple items they had to come back for to fix (crooked lines). Additionally after the initial estimate there were several add-ons they didnt initially discuss such as painting doors and fixing walls that had any imperfections.

We have hired All American for several Painting projects as well as a major basement remodel. They have always done a great job for us at a reasonable price!

This past summer, we put a rental house we owned on the market and asked this company Who had been recommended by our realtor, to do some extensive painting and touch ups. I was very impressed by the estimate they wrote up as everything was written exactely as I asked for, and In Specific detail and the price was fair. They offered some good suggestions and tips that we welcomed. After the contract was signed, the painter(s) showed up everyday until the job was done. Each person we had contact with in the company was professional, polite and easy to deal with. They kept mess to a minimum and cleaned up the job site each day. They did a good job and I will call them again when I need painting done in my home.

It has been a few years since my house was painted by All American Painting, and the job has held up well. No unnoticed missed spots, no sloppiness in the dark areas, straight edges. They also cleaned up afterwards, leaving no paint chips even in the bushes.

Owner Brian McCracken leads a great team of professionals. We have used their services twice and continue to be impressed by their promptness, level of communication and outstanding quality of work. The first job was painting of the interior of our house - color changes in three rooms and touch ups on existing colors throughout the house. The second was the outside of our predominately brick/sided three-story house in which some of the trim needed replacing due to wood rot, painting all the trim and sanding and painting two iron stair railings. We will definitely be hiring them again and would highly recommend them.

Hired All American to put walls up in laundry room and finish trim on closet doors. Also had them remove wallpaper in kitchen and bath. Bthey did an excellent job,were respectful of our home and cleaned up after themselves. The price was fair and the work done within the agreed time frame. I would recommend them for anyone looking for home repairs or remodeling.
