All our clients' projects are unique & are therefore treated on a highly individual basis. Our common practice is to arrange a brief site viewing & project consultation at the property, at the clients' convenience. There is no charge for this service. If a client is unable to be there themselves, we are happy to make alternative arrangements - whatever works for you! Lastly, we calculate a schedule of works and provide the client with a FREE, fully itemised quotation.

I am very happy with the decorating and repair work we had done to the interior of our Primary School. The finish is to a high standard and provided an immediate impact for children, staff and visitors, with lots of positive comments. The advice during the quotation stage was really helpful in choosing the right products and colours for the finish we wanted, taking into account the communal usage of the areas. Alix communicated effectively about the project as it unfolded and was very professional, understanding the needs of a school, he ensured the project was completed within the time frame. Alix provided regular updates and was friendly an professional throughout the refurb of our bay window. The finished window looks great. Alix was always sure to clean up after each day, worked around our needs and made recommendations to our landlord around future work that may be required to avoid any unexpected issues. Thanks Alix

Whilst not a vast remit, it was most satisfactory to have been of service here. The timbers had deteriorated to an exceptionally poor condition - with compounded botched efforts to shore up the rot, joints completely eroded, gappy frames/panes with no weather run-offs & incorrect glazing solutions, throughout.

Once your neighbour learned of our contract together, they also commissioned us to complete a full over-haul of their bay, too. This was in an equal state of distress - albeit, for completely different reasons!

Using market-leading timber replacement, high-build resins & heavy duty stripping, we have returned a suitably long life-expectancy to the timbers & completed the project with a pristine finish.

Alix has now done a few jobs for us now and we have been really happy with the results every time. He always provides prompt, accurate quotes which he sticks to and when he does carry out the work, he is very tidy, works to his schedule and most importantly, the painting and decorating is done to an excellent standard. In a nutshell, I couldn’t recommend Alix highly enough.

I have hired Alix many times over the years, for both interior and exterior renovations. He completes work to an incredibly high standard, and honours his original quotations. I trusted him to completely decorate the downstairs of my house, and my new babies bedroom(!) and I couldn’t be happier. Most recently he completely repaired water-damaged render and rotten window frames on the outside of my house before painting the whole exterior. It looks exquisite and I have already booked Alix to decorate the rest of my house next year.

Alix completely redecorated our 2,000sqft Grade 2 listed apartment last year. We were thrilled with the excellent results and would not hesitate to recommend Alix, and his business, to anyone needing a first class decorator. His workmanship, attention to detail, patience, dedication and overall craftsmanship was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and he coped admirably with our anxieties and ensured that, with a well planned project and very good tidying up at the end of each day, we were able to stay in residence and carry on a semblance of “normal life”. We will use Alix again on our investment portfolio as we are unlikely to need a redecoration on our main home for many years to come after the superb job he did!! Thank you Alix!

I used this company to restore my hallway, situated over three storeys, which included replacing the anaglypta in the porch with Lincrusta and repairing woodwork and plaster, also putting back to good order a casement window in my Edwardian town house. Alix worked with exceptional, painstaking care; making sure that no detail, however small, was overlooked. For him ,it must have been a nightmare to work on, as problems emerged at every turn, owing to the poor maintenance of previous owners. Thus, he worked extra weeks to ensure a fully professional finish, but was insistent on not charging any extra for the time he put in. He was a delight to have around, being punctual, polite and careful of our specific needs. I would have no hesitation in using him again, and have already recommended him to friends, three of whom have booked him to work on their houses, having seen the beautiful standard of his work. A quite exceptional man.

Alix has just completed the third and final stage of a complete interior re-decoration in our house. This being the third time we have had Alix back we felt a review was long overdue! Alix is a pleasure to deal with and kept us informed and updated at every stage of the project, particularly if any unforeseen problems arose which needed to be addressed. His attention to detail is second to none and this shows in the final result. If you want an honest and reliable decorator who offers competitive prices then look no further! Personally, I would not consider any other decorator and cannot recommend him highly enough!

Alix is very professional and knowledgeable. He interpreted my vision for the flat very well and communicates clearly, explaining technical issues where they came up. He and his team did an excellent job on my 1 bed flat which previously had bad lines to it and garish colours. The result was lovely and flat with cutting in very good especially as walls were not straight due to the nature of the old building. Alix and his team work to a very high standard and it really shows. I was delighted with the result. Alix matched my colours well and the feature wall in grey in the kitchen really works. Overall it was very well organized project and I felt completely at ease with the team doing all the work while I was away in London.

We arranged to paint the outside of our house last summer. Being new to Hove, I arranged several quotes, and Alix was very competitive. I can honestly say that he and his team did a superb job. It was quite. Clear to us that he is meticulous in both preparation and painting. He and his team were always on time, polite, and tidy. He even arranged for his team to repair window frames and that saved us a considerable amount of money! He gave advice on colours, which we appreciated. We will use him again without hesitation. I would strongly recommend him to anyone living in Brighton&Hove. He is excellent!

We are a grade listed building 1 and 2, i was after a decorator who would carryout works in a short time scale as we are a venue and only have limited time scales before the next show is in, after meeting with Alix i was impressed with his professionalism and understanding of the listed buildings, Alix takes pride in looking at every detail and advises us on best methods to keep our building up to stranded for all to enjoy. Alix and his team are always polite friendly and undertake decorating to high standards, they will also come back or rectifies any snagging issues straight away if they arise. i would recommend the company to anyone who is looking for a professional decorating company.Project dates below are hard to pin point as Alix is my proffered company and has worked over different months for us.
