HB Home Services rehabilitated our front porch with timber tech boards and rebuilt front steps. They did excellent work--we couldn't be happier with the final results. Their commitment to clear communication, including a very helpful portal for everything related to the job, is excellent. We did have one issue--a disagreement about what we had initially agreed upon--and I was very pleased with how that resolved. This is one reason for the 5 stars. Other contractors I've worked with have not done what they did--made it right. I will recommend HB highly because of their excellent craftsmanship and a team committed to clear communication

HB Services replaced the master bedroom 3-panel window in our townhouse. They were responsive, had the best quote, stuck to their schedule and price, and provided excellent updates along the way through their CoConstruct project management portal. Would definitely recommend.

Very pleased with the work to replace our kitchen window and other exterior repair work. Installation was done carefully so as not to damage the tile backsplash. Happy with the communication of schedule and project status.

Excellent work, pricing and scheduling. Project was for crown molding in 4 upstairs bedrooms. HB was able to match existing molding pattern and work around existing furniture. Work was conveniently scheduled and completed as requested and in time for house guests. Thanks HB! We will continue to use you guys for all sorts of projects.

We hired HB Home Services to renovate three bathrooms -- two in our home, one in a rental condo about 10 minutes away. The final product for all three bathrooms is excellent -- the bathrooms are beautiful and we will enjoy them for years to come -- but throughout the process we experienced multiple communication problems, installation errors, mistakes in ordering materials, small leaks and plumbing problems, damages to our property, several invoicing errors, and so on. It truly felt like 'death by a thousand paper cuts.' The attention to detail and customer service experience were very much lacking, particularly for the (very high) price tag.

We like the way H.B. Home Services run their business with their communications and project management tool. Erik Major our Account Executive was terrific in his constant communications, listening skills and willingness to work with some custom requests. Their software tools allow them to stay on top of all communications, provide us daily and weekly status of both supply orders and when they will install (which they kept to all of their dates). Just like in any large, complex home projects, there was one glitch, however, the company resolved the matter and go beyond and above to satisfy us and make right. I would definitely recommend Erik and H.B. Home Services for any Windows and Doors project.

Thank you Jimmy Hink, Rudy, Jan, Sergei and the many others that helped make this project perfect. Cabinets from CraftMaid. Quartz countertop from USA Marble & Granite. Would highly recommend HB Home Services.

Complete remodeling of our master bath, floor to ceiling, and all fixtures. The good: professional and very pleasant workers who cared about their work and did an excellent job. Couldn't ask for more. The not as good: at least 5 different measuring errors (by the supervisor apparently and no apologies made), tile quantities and light fixture layout, caused a few weeks delay because materials had to be ordered and a few wall fixture placements had to be re-located. I had to make several trips to suppliers 40 minutes away myself to both return and pick-up materials because of those contractor errors. No offer was made by the contractor to do so. Communication was inconsistent and not always timely as far as worker scheduling was concerned. The company has an excellent designed web app to centralize communications, scheduling, and progress; but it has glitches that make it difficult to utilize. I basically stopped using it; partly because it wasn't always updated on a timely basis. The completed project looks great, but a lot of delays and frustrations. Their bid was the highest of the four I got and I was expecting a smoother process. Errors happen in construction, but too many on this project and maybe more importantly, no apologies or allowances ever offered.

HB Services did a fantastic job renovating my townhouse in Vienna. They installed beautiful LVP flooring on all three floors, they repaired siding after storm damage, and they painted and stained my deck and front steps . I highly recommend HB.

HB did a great job repairing the water underlayment on a second floor balcony. The membrane was old and leaking, allowing heavy rain to leak into our garage. HP diagnosed the problem and after removing balcony flooring, replaced the membrane . All of the leaks are gone. HB also stopped the leaking we had via the sliding door that went out to the balcony. Unfortunately, the original builders did not create a lasting system that would keep rain water from penetrating our sliding door system. HB installed new water proofing and replaced several cedar siding boards that were old and part of the problem. The sliding door is working as designed and leaking is no longer a problem. This company knows what it is doing. The team is very knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. As a consumer, I would use their services again without reservation.
