As an Architect we work diligently to produce great designs for wonderful clients. The challenge is greater when you finally get to do for yourself what you do for others! To crown that accomplishment, we sought out Crystal who's work with clean lines, clarity of light and composition is so well suited capturing our kitchen and bath remodeling efforts at home. While we are enjoying a much overdue refresh, it is the photos that Crystal produced for us that add delight when we proudly share with others, inviting them to come and see the work in person.

I worked with Crystal Waye Photography on my client, Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet's magazine editorial reshoot. We had another photographer, but the work was not up to our standards or acceptable. We were pleasantly surprised once we found Crystal. We needed an excellent photographer who understands the complexity of reflections on stainless steel and how to create and tell a compelling story through the photography. She met and exceeded our expectations, both with the excellent quality of her work and her professionalism. We felt we were in more-than-capable hands and well-taken care of from consultation to finished product. She was diligent, detail oriented, early, a pleasure to work with and clearly talented --She even styled the photos and provided props. I recommend Crystal Waye photography with the highest compliments and look very forward to working with her in the near future and hopefully all future projects!

We came to Crystal with an unique design brief and very limited time. The project was product oriented interior scene with cats involved. Crystal showed incredible amount of patience and on-the-spot problem solving skills. She guided the process, delivered exceptional work, and somehow makes everything feel easy. We have worked with multiple talented photographers and Crystal is definitely on the top of our list. We have the pleasure to work with her and recommend her for professional work.

Crystal help my company on product photography in various home themes. She evan help us to research and booked the locations for our product photography and been very responsibility from start to end. My interior design firm worked with Crystal to photograph a Designer Showcase Home that we designed. We created a little girl's room and attached bath in a stunning historic home. We were a very new firm at the time and the project was very important toward us establishing ourselves, and striking the right aesthetic was essential. Crystal was amazing to work with. She arrived on time and was prepared. She was professional and patient. As designers, we had LOTS of ideas, and Crystal was patient with us and worked well with our direction, but also clearly had her own shot goals, which ended up really capturing the space. She has an "Architectural Digest" kind of approach, which truly allows one's designs to sing. The photos turned out great! She edited them to perfection. We're still proud of one of our initial projects, and are still showing them off. If you hire Crystal, you won't be disappointed!

Crystal Waye was everything that I had hoped for in a photographer and more. She was prompt, courteous, intuitive and while she was very happy to hear what I wanted to capture, she also took the lead in offering suggestions as to the best way to capture the space that I wanted photographed for my portfolio and did so with an expert confidence. My understanding is that she graduated from a prestigious photography institute in Santa Barbara whose name has escaped me at the moment. Her deep knowledge of the technical and esoteric nature of photography is easily apparent and the way she navigated changing light was a marvel to see. I am a very demanding artist and expect the best from those I work with. In every way Crystal exceeded my expectations and i recommend her highly. Whenever there is an effortless mix of intuition and experience, I am generally very pleased. Oh, and it should be noted she has a delightful personality and was a joy to work with.
