FIRED!! Brian Lerman and ARC Design were FIRED by wife and I because after he was paid in full he failed to properly communicate with us about our design ideas. He proceeded in a dilatory fashion and when he finally delivered the plans he failed to include our daughter's bedroom in the plans. We FIRED him at that point. During his he came to our house 2 times and then sent subordinates to get signatures from us. He was hard to reach by phone. But he was excellent at nickel and dime(ing) us for his subordinates work. Upon being FIRED, he threatened, "I will take my name off the plans.". Upon asking him to correct the plans, he indicated, "I will not bastardize my design.". After Firing him, we requested a copy of the plans and he send us a paper to sign absolving him of all responsibility for his actions. Avoid Arc Design and save yourself problems.

Very creative design and architectual work for remodling residential property. All personnel are highly capable. Work done at a reasonable price. Reworked an old plan to be brought up to code. Brian Lerman (principal) is very responsive to questions and suggestions.

Having been in remodeling and construction of high-end custom homes for close to 30 years, I got to see A LOT of architectural plan sets. From the first time I reviewed Brian's (Arc Design) plans, the work stood out for both its completeness and its aesthetic value. The plans were very well done! Working with Brian on the project proved just as rewarding: Brian is easy to work with, responsive, attentive, detail oriented, very well informed and does not let ego get in the way of anything (a rare and welcome trait). For anyone needing an architect Brian would be an indispensable and unmatched asset. It is my hope that we will get to work with Arc Design Group in many more projects in the days to come!

Brian and Sean designed our "dream" home. They excelled at translating our wishes to a beautifully designed home that was truly customized for our lot and mountain views. The process of working with them was so easy because listen to your needs and have lots of great ideas - we love the extra details they provided with respect to our ceilings and archways. We feel that we live in a truly unique house that exceeded our expectations in terms of functionality and design. The comprehensive nature of their drawings/plans ensured that there were no surprises during the construction phase.

We would recommend Arc Design Group and Brian Lerman with 100% confidence to anyone who is building or remodeling a home. Brian was the first and last architect that we interviewed. After our initial meeting we knew that he was the one. Our impression of him has only improved since our initial meeting. We can honestly say that he is truly amazing at what he does. Brian is always professional, honest, and prompt to respond to every question or concern we have ever had. He has a good balance of design, function and value. Throughout our project he has always been conscious of value engineering the design; that is, knowing on which features we should spend money and on which features the cost would be greater than the value. We have been also impressed with his ability to trouble shoot in the field as construction is progressing. As we got to know Brian we learned that many homes in our area that he has designed were the homes that we absolutely loved. In fact, we personally know several of his clients and they all feel the same way as we do. Brian is one of those people that meant to do exactly what he does - and he goes at it with passion. We often say if it weren’t for Brian we would not have gone through our major remodel. He has always been there for us and has never let us down. We vividly remember early on in our design process Brain said, “I want to design you a home that you will love coming home to”. We can absolutely say that he delivered exactly what he promised! Without hesitation, we would ONLY consider Brian Lerman and Arc Design Group for any of our architectural needs.

We hired ARC design group to build our home in 2007. This was a very smart move. Sean and Brian got our concept on the first try. We wanted to build a one story spanish contemporary home that was ascetically beautiful in design, yet comfortable and homey for our three kids. They nailed it! Everyone room in the house is functionally and usable on a daily basis. For instance, they designed a beautiful bar in our dining room along with a bay for our piano which became a fun room to hang out for everyone. Now in 2014 we are remodeling another home . Our first call was to ARC Design. We never considered another company. Our experience both times has been fantastic. They are great listeners and really do a great job in making your wishes for your dream house come true. Highly recommend!

We hired Arc Design Group and had such a good experience, we will only use them on future projects. Brian and Sean really listened to what was important to us, and presented us with great ideas. They are very easy to work with, accessible, and responsive. They were able to anticipate things that we hadn't thought of, and their attention to detail is superb. I was introduced to Arc Design Group by houz.com accordingly I have considered them to redesign my house in Dubai which was under construction phase. They have demonstrated that they are very talented، innovated and creative. Even the task was challenging task They have been committed and responsive to complete such task to eliminate any impact on the construction schedule. I ended up with a more beautiful and harmonic house. After sharing they changes produced by Arc Group Design with my relatives, two of them ended up consulting with Arc and they are extremely happy with work produced by Arc Design Group.

Creative, talented, open minded, pro-active, easy going, I could go on and on. ARC has exceeded my expectations on my personal project. In addition I have with worked with ARC on many projects from modest to immense. I could not give a more positive referral!
