Loriann was such a delight to work with!! We had her design our kitchen and guest bathroom. When we looked for designers, most people wanted to do the whole project and not just the designing part. Also they wanted to do the whole house not just the kitchen and bathroom. Loriann was a perfect fit for us, since she specialized in kitchen and bathrooms, and she was local and NKBA certified. We needed to renovate our kitchen but needed it to blend with the rest of our home, that was not being remodeled yet, and she did an amazing job! Loriann was highly responsive and communicative since the first phone call. We loved her design ideas, and the fact that she chose all of our material after getting to know our needs and interests. . It was so much easier to have a professional with a vision choose the material. She worked with our budget and made an outdated kitchen and bathroom beautiful and functional. We are so happy with her design and can't wait to work with her to remodel our other bathrooms and laundry room. We highly recommend working with Loriann!! She is very talented and pleasant!!!

Loriann was such an incredible asset during the whole process of creating my new kitchen. Her knowledge and experience of how kitchens function was invaluable. There are aspects that I use and am grateful for every day that I never would have thought to implement without her insight.

"Why are we going to spend money on someone just to pick things?!" was the comment from my husband. At the end of the project, his comment was "She was the best thing we did on this project." Hiring a designer is not just to "pick things", although yes, I am a busy working mom who needed help pulling a look together. But my husband and I bought a fixer and have largely been DIYers, so it was a weird concept to hire things out. We had a original 50's bathroom and I didn't know where to begin to make it an efficient, beautiful space. I found Loriann's site and loved her portfolio. What struck me about Loriann was that she is a really good listener. I had never worked with a designer before, and I was apprehensive of someone who would be more about projecting her "vision" than giving us something practical and beautiful. Loriann looked around our house and then sat down and asked questions about what we like and disliked, and ideas we had. Maybe I had a preconceived notion that designers are all about "You can do this, and THIS, AND THIS!" but Loriann was very thoughtful and measured. Loriann is super responsive and had 2 concepts for us well within the promised ETA. All we gave her for inspo was a tub my husband and I picked, and tile that my daughter and I liked. The concepts she had for us took those two elements and gave us two options: one a little more daring, and another equally beautiful but potentially a little more timeless. We went with the second option with some tweaks. When I looked at her concepts, I was so impressed. I felt like she really did hear what we were saying, things like I wanted low maintenance, simple, storage space, etc and incorporated it a design that felt, well, DESIGNER. With Loriann, she can pull in the details that make a small space feel luxe. The best part was that she asked if we would be willing to remove a hallway linen closet to get more space. Since we were also relocating the tank water heater to a tankless outside, this was a great idea. She also had a contractor she recommended who was as amazing as she was, and I loved that they worked well together and he was able to bring her vision to life. They even discussed not having a casing around the door to get another inch of space which allowed us a full depth vanity. This is after she designed it with the door moved as far over as it could go, but wanted to get us a little more room. The devil is in the details. I cannot emphasize enough how a designer will help a project run smoothly in the long run. She had measurements, and a PLAN. Contractors work a lot better to a plan than ideas in your head. Our new bathroom is more beautiful than I could have ever imagined, and is an oasis for me to just detox and recalibrate after a tough day. From her impeccable taste, to her calm and thoughtful professional demeanor, I can recommend hiring her with zero hesitation. Thank you Loriann!!

We highly recommend Savvy Kitchens. I believe we never would have gotten started without Loriann's momentum, as we had stalled several times in the past, before we started working with her. She listened to our ideas and budget, added her knowledge and experience, and quickly designed our project (master bath and kitchen/family room) and connected us with a contractor we were very satisfied with During the project, she helped us with selection of materials and always responded quickly and with helpful suggestions. Our project was completed in 4 months and we are so happy with it. Loriann is very personable, knowledgeable and professional. We are pleased to recommend her.

We were so lucky to find a professional like Loriann and Savvy Kitchens! She knew exactly how to make over our 1941 galley kitchen into a fabulous space that fits our needs perfectly. Loriann did all the work of organizing the materials and contacting vendors. We used Loriann’s cabinet company and we could not be more pleased. In addition to her excellent taste, Loriann was available and responsive by text or phone. She listened to our needs and worked with the contractor to see us through our “pandemic” remodel.

We are so glad we found Loriann and Savvy Kitchens. We tried a number of designers first but none worked out for various reasons. We were getting frustrated but we found Loriann's site and liked her work. Her rate was reasonable and she was clear about what we would get for that rate. Not everyone we talked to had been. We were nervous pulling up to her office to see the designs. But that quickly went away when she presented her work. It was an instant "Wow!" We went to work and used her recommended contractor who I also highly recommend. Project went great. Communication was top notch. Everything went smooth and the work was completed in a timely fashion. Now our kitchen is completely transformed. It feels like we have a whole new house. We couldn't be happier with this project. We hired Loriann to help us with our kitchen remodel design after meeting with several designers. I knew when I met her that she got it and got me and would help us have our dream kitchen. Unlike many other designers we met with, she listened to what we wanted and within our price and time constraints as well as things we didn’t want to do (structural, electrical and plumbing) and kept those things in mind every step of the way. She was fairly priced and we were paying for exactly what we needed help with - tile, counters, colors etc and not things we didn’t like furniture or other rooms that were not in our scope. Loriann also referred her contractor who was amazing and we couldn't be happier with the results. On time, within budget and looks fabulous. I wholeheartedly recommend Loriann and would hire her again... maybe sooner than later for our bathroom that’s up next!

Attempting a kitchen remodel is a daunting task. After finding Loriann on yelp and discovering she was right in our town, we hoped it would be a perfect fit. It was! I stumbled upon Savvy Kitchens while looking through kitchen design ideas on houzz. I loved the projects I saw and contacted The owner, Loriann. She had such a variety of styles and i knew she would be the one to help me with my kitchen project. She came up with an amazing design plan for my kitchen and supplied the most beautiful cabinets and quartz countertops. I love my new kitchen and can’t recommend Loriann highly enough!!

What a pleasure it was to work with Loriann on our kitchen remodel. She was a complete lifesaver when it came to organizing the space in a way that melded aesthetics with function. One of the things I appreciated most was Loriann’s ability to envision “how” the room would flow with the rest of the house (which was also being remodeled). She reworked our architect’s plans to include a more functional and open doorway, while still considering the adjacent room--this issue was a major bone of contention for us, and Loriann delivered on providing a solution. Space planning was also fantastic, and I particularly appreciated Loriann’s focus on practicality, as well as appearance. She approached the project from the perspective that we would be cooking and living in the space, and she also understood that we wanted it to look good as well.

Loriann performed miracles on our home! She helped us remodel our bathroom and kitchen and helped us select new paint, flooring, and lighting for the rest of our house too. She even helped us find some furniture which is outside her usual scope of work. Loriann is very professional, helpful, timely, and always pleasant. She knows people who do excellent work and who you can feel comfortable with in terms of competence, judgement, and trustworthiness. An all-around great experience working with Savvy Kitchens.
