Title: A Candid Experience with Panda Doors: A Cautionary Tale for Your Project
I recently embarked on a new home build with Panda Doors, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. While the doors themselves may have aesthetic appeal, the installation process was marred by several issues, prompting me to share my candid review.
To begin with, the installation process was hindered by the absence of directions. The promised video was nowhere to be found, necessitating multiple calls to eventually obtain the elusive instructions. This lack of guidance added unnecessary frustration to what should have been a straightforward installation.
Furthermore, the door handles supplied with the purchase proved to be a headache. Not only were they devoid of the correct-sized screws and door stops, but the customer service response to rectify this issue was less than satisfactory. After a cumbersome exchange, I received four thicker screws instead of the requested ten longer ones. To address these shortcomings, I had to enlist the services of a metal worker to correct the screws, fashion new door stops, and rectify subpar workmanship on a keyhole cut.
To compound matters, the handles, upon installation, were revealed to be incompatible due to their decorative tops colliding with the door frame. Despite bringing this to Panda's attention, the resolution process was far from smooth. While they eventually agreed to send replacement handles, the burden of a $26 shipping bill was unfairly placed on me. Unwilling to bear the cost of their mistake, I refused the shipment and opted to incur additional expenses by having the decorative tops removed by the metal worker.
Communication with Panda proved to be another challenge. Attempts to address these issues were met with obstruction, as I found myself blocked from reaching individuals with pertinent information. Email exchanges were characterized by a recurrent theme of shifting blame onto our installers, rather than acknowledging responsibility. Despite promises of executive intervention, no such contact materialized.
Regrettably, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Panda Doors to fellow homeowners undertaking a building project. While the end result may eventually meet expectations with the right adjustments, the journey has been marked by unnecessary obstacles and a lack of accountability from the company. Approach with caution and best of luck with your construction endeavors.

Less than a year ago we purchased an existing home with a Panda Pivot door, which now has a broken lock. After repeated attempts to get a response from their service manager, and from their service provider, we tried their regional salesperson who has also ghosted us (all we need is a new lock). I am sure that when they try to sell you their products, their responsiveness is the absolute best. But when you need service from them, they are the absolute worst - their silence is deafening. And what good is a company that does not service their products? Believe the people who leave reviews about their service practices, and remember that there are other options out there if you are considering purchasing Panda products.

Our issue with Panda has been poor customer service with our regional rep Evan. We ordered a window package for our remodel project that went months past the original date we were told we would have windows delivered. Our rep had very poor communication with us and was frequently out of the office when we needed to talk to him, or would not respond to emails. Our architect spent many hours trying to get Panda's shop drawings to match our window schedule - after three revisions to fix their mistakes, we finally signed off on shop drawings Nov. 2, 2020. Our windows finally delivered yesterday, Feb. 26, several weeks late causing project delays for us. Upon opening up our crates of windows, we find there are no nail fins, despite doing specific revisions to shop drawings to make sure nail fins would be included. Every page of our signed and approved shop drawings states "nail fins included". Our builder had subs lined up to immediately begin install on delivery day, since we'd been waiting for so many weeks to get our project going again - everyone got sent home, because - no nail fins. I called our rep and he informed me he would go dig around their factory floor to find some, but that the windows don't require them. We told him that this is the very thing we paid for revisions on to ensure we received nail fins because our residential application in a very wet climate requires nail fins for our flashing to be installed correctly. He then proceeded to send a general "how to install Panda windows" to our builder, which was not helpful and not addressing our needs at all. When I tried to call him again to insist he go find some nail fins and ship them ASAP to us, he ignored my email, their office closed early so nobody answered my call and I've still yet to hear any updates from Evan. We have 60k worth of windows sitting at a stalled out project now because we can't install them properly for our residential project. As a further added slap in the face, our final invoice included 6 revisions at 75$ a pop, when we only had 3, and it was documented on our shop drawings directly. When asked about this several times, Evan completely ignored us and just sent us the Bank Wiring information to submit payment. At this point we knew the windows were done, Evan had sent photos of them sitting on the warehouse floor waiting to be crated, stating that they would not ship until final invoice was wired to them. They were literally holding us hostage, knowing that we were behind schedule, needed our windows months ago, and so they bullied us into just paying the dang invoice despite it being incorrect, so we could get our windows shipped. Since our windows are still sitting in boxes I can't attest to the quality yet, hopefully we receive nail fins at some point, it's just absolutely ridiculous. Panda needs to address who they have representing them as regional sales managers and the extremely poor customer service that is happening.

Audrey Grinceri is always a huge help with any concerns or questions I have with any Panda products, she is very helpful and gets us what we need in a very reasonable amount of time, and always has a great attitude.

Audrey Grinceri was a huge help in finding out which piece I was needing and getting it shipped to me quickly. I took a few pictures, she helped me identify the correct item, and followed up with me after the item had shipped to ensure that I had received it in tact. Her responses were quick even though I was a little less timely with mine. A huge help during these busy times. Thanks again Audrey for making the process so easy.

Called Panda Windows and Doors because I needed a few part to repair a glass partition for one of my clients. I spoke with Audrey and the parts were shipped with no questions asked. Excellent customer service!

I really don’t know where to start. The worst unprofessional company with zero customer service skills. The owner doesn’t know how to talk to customer and take care of a problem. I purchased my doors paid over $16k and comes to shipping time they shipped it with a company who was not capable of delivering. Called million time and left messages and no respond so I had to call every minute to get hold of someone and once I did the owner, sales manager and sales rep. Said it’s not their problem and I am in my own keep in mind I paid all fees including shipping to panda. The owner of this company try to bribe me to write a good review first and only then she can see what she can do about the shipping “unbelievable” and I told her I would rather not so everyon knows. For 10 days windows being in shipping yard I begged the shipping manager to bring it and he agreed feeling bad that panda did this to but we had to bring it down from the truck and if anything happens to it we are responsible. My Instaler Instaler the door and notices screws are missing and the door handles and screws are missing so I called and finally Audrey called me and I asked for the items. She send me wrong parts and I e mailed her saying it’s the wrong parts. She said when the door was tested it was working perfectly keep in mind they dismantle all door to ship. If they send the door handle I have powder coat it. Can you believe this company still being in business. Please don’t buy anything from this company

I had a brake latch on a glass door that was installed 7 years ago. I called Panda and Audrey has me take photos and send them to get. Within 24 hours she located the part and had it shipped and at no charge. Great service and a company that stands behind their service!

We used Panda for a window wall between the kitchen and the backyard pool. The doors have been installed for a year now, and they work beautifully. They slide easily with one finger. (the screen not so much)

Super high quality product....follow up service is non existent....after paying over $100,000 for doors...2 months later they won't close....they swing open by themselves and the company has refused to come and correct them. Buye Beware!!!

This is a great company to do business with. Their products and customer service are fantastic. But I would highly recommend you only use a factory installer, the extra cost is well worth the quality of the installation.
