The Toy Tamer

We hired the Toy Tamer to help with the chaos that was our basement play area. I still don’t think I have words to describe how much we love our space now. Brings a smile to my face every time I go downstairs. I started with a call to understand how the service worked. Evelyn then met with us in our space / met our kids and got a sense of them - and then hand sketched a plan that I got to walk through with her that day! Then we scheduled installment. The turnaround was SO fast. They arrived. Worked all day. It is hard to explain the transformation. Evelyn creates little play centers which helps for clean up and play. Our kids play with toys more - create more and they handle clean up!! We can’t recommend them enough!! Clear, thorough, and creative professionals.

It has been about a month since I brought in The Toy Tamer. I can’t say enough how this changed my life. From the ease of getting toys away, getting the kids to help, and my favorite part, it’s never a mess when the kids play. No more dumping!!! The kids love it and I feel like Mary Poppins when I hear that bell ring! Spit Spot :)

The Toy Tamer changed my life by taking my daughter’s toys from 3 floors and organizing them into one playroom! Seems so simple but it’s magical! They have since been in their new space non stop. I had twenty kids here for a birthday party the day after completion and it looked exactly the same. It’s a burden lifted. What’s more, I actually want to be in their new space and create! I used to just close the door so I didn’t have to deal with the mess. & Now this mom of two has her space back as well! No more toys everywhere. Ahhhhh! Simply amazing. I can breathe!

It has been an transformational experience for our family! The kids feel super proud, responsible and committed towards this space. They have been absolutely loving the order and are more organized in their play as well. They now have access to all their toys and supplies without calling ‘Mom’ a million times! We called the Toy Tamer after acknowledging that our basement, which serves as our playroom, was unorganized, out of control, and in need of some serious structure. Our kids weren't using it, and, when they were, they didn't know where to find toys nor did they know where to return them. Needless to say, The Toy Tamer came to the rescue. From the initial phone consultation to the in-home visit to the final product, we were blown away by the attention to detail, the personalized design, and the final product. Since the project was completed, our kids spend the majority of the day in the basement, it's remained clean (!!), and the various "areas" are growing with new holiday gifts and expectations. It's also a beautiful design, too! We can't thank The Toy Tamer enough!

I was lucky enough to win a consultation with Evelyn (The Toy Tamer) from a school fundraiser raffle. After a thorough review of our playroom, Evelyn went to work putting together ideas and a proposal on how to improve our kids' play space. Evelyn's focus is not just on taming the toy chaos, but on how to make the space easy, fun, and so much more accessible to kids. Our playroom transformation was awesome. Evelyn's eye for how to use the space and find a home for every single toy, game, etc., is incredible. The kids are happy to be able to see and find their toys and I am happy because the room is organized and SO MUCH easier to keep clean. I get compliments on the playroom from everyone.

Mrs. C is a game changer! She can take any room in your home and transform not only the room, but your life! Her organization, labeling and sorting were outstandingly helpful when trying to create a structured play area for my kids. It even helped make clean up easier for them! MUST DO!

We love our Toy Tamer art and playroom transformations. Mrs. C created beautiful organized rooms that the children enjoy being in and can easily maintain. We have four boys and a wide range of toys. The task was not easy but now the boys can easily find all their toys and actually play with them. All systems I tried in the past would only last a few weeks or work if I cleaned them up. Now over a year after the Toy Tamer performed her magic our rooms are just as organized as the day she left.
