Founded in 1989 in the rural town of Taylorsville, North Carolina, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams is an internationally-acclaimed home furnishings company offering eco-friendly, American-made upholstery as well as table & storage, lighting, rugs, bed linens, artwork, and accessories—all designed to help people live comfortably with style. Our furnishings are often seen in magazines, on TV and in fine hotels. They are available at a growing chain of Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams Signature Stores that feature exclusively our products, as well as online and in national chains and fine independent home-furnishing shops nationwide. We also have a contract division that works with hotels, restaurants and other companies in the business of providing comfort on the road. Our co-founders, chairman Mitchell Gold and president of design Bob Williams, have instilled in all of us the desire to help make the world a more comfortable place—for everyone.
