XS Interiors and EX Showhouse Furniture

We were delighted once again to seek advice from XSInteriors, our third project with them. Our hall and main lounge needed a complete new look - redesign and makeover. Loraine and Carlo did an initial planning visit to determine our requirements, and for them to begin formulating a plan for the whole project. It quickly became apparent to Loraine that the total new look would require a colour theme to flow between the rooms. This would include the walls to be re painted, the floor coverings renewed all with a complimentary and flowing colour scheme consisting of taupe, timeless white, and contrasting black with an accent colour of sunset orange for highlights. We listened with excitement to the beginnings of the potential new proposals - possibly of new art work, colourful accessories, lights with stunning pattern, furniture all tied into the new colour look. Loraine and Carlo invited us to their studio to consider and personally view recommendations for our project. On display was all the Hall, Vestibule and the Lounge items which quite overwhelmed us . They were of top quality and picked by a consummate, extremely talented and amazing designer. We loved it! The Vestibule and Hallway She recommended : a lighting scheme with a drop light fitting in the vestibule and a matching light fitting in the hall, two topiary trees, a feature accent chair with a mohair throw in gold and ebony, a bespoke lux floral vase, a console table with wood and platinum with a wooden mirror and a pair of long slim abstract canvas artwork flanking it. A black glass top table with sculptural under carriage, two roundels in ebony trellis metal work would complete the look. New contrasting wall colours were suggested in the hall and stairway carpet to her recommended taupe colour. Lounge A sofa and piano were removed and replaced with two sea view facing ebony boutique tub chairs with contrasting cushions of Mongolian fur and sunset orange. The accent wall was papered to give texture. Artwork included two modern paintings with platinum detail and two sculptural artworks in frames, and two matching lamps, delightful grand glass vase in orange tones completed the look. Once again we were overwhelmed by their totally excellent service. Everything was selected and provided for us and was seamlessly installed. We were listened to and the interaction action between Loraine, Carlo and ourselves ensured attention to detail and service of top quality. It is also worthy of mention all the procurement, packing, onward delivery, installation and assembly, mirror and artwork hanging and all delivered to our home. We still can’t believe the total nature of the service offered. The final result is once again totally outstanding the colour themes of ebony and sunset in both the vestibule hall and lounge makes the final result a design triumph. All visitors since the makeover come in and say WOW - a testament to the perfection of XSInteriors. We recommend them 100%

Loraine from XS Interiors was chosen to do a full makeover on our main lounge. We chose her after checking out her website and reviews from previous customers which were outstanding. She visited our home for an in depth discussion and survey and we discussed colour palette etc and confirmed that we preferred a modern look. We were then invited to Loraine’s showroom where she had a special room set up with her proposed vision for our lounge. We appreciated the amount of work gone into setting this up. She gave us the opportunity to change or add anything but we were delighted with all her choices. She had picked some fabulous high end pieces and all the colours look great. Once our new leather sofa arrived from Italy, it was all systems go. We disappeared for the day and came home to our fantastic new lounge. The final result was outstanding We could never have achieved this look on our own and would not hesitate to recommend Loraine to anyone who is looking for something a little bit different. We are very happy customers, thank you Loraine and Carlos. The whole process was a joy from start to finish and the makeover represented excellent value for money.

Overwhelmed! My house is now a home. Loraine has transformed our lounge and made it us. I spoke about our lifestyle, our likes our must haves and Loraine absolutely smashed it out the park. All aspects from first meeting until the day of completion were seamless, such a pleasure to work with this team. I contacted Loraine as I needed help with a complete makeover of my lounge, dining room and hallway which were looking a bit dated. I started off by visiting her showroom in Glasgow where I presented some pictures of our current rooms. We had a discussion around our taste in furniture and picked out some items we liked from her vast display. I trusted her to choose a new sofa with the only stipulation that it was grey and modern and she came up with a beauty. I didn’t want to wait the usual 16 weeks for delivery from a furniture store and Loraine could purchase one quicker. Loraine then visited our home so she could carry out exact measurements and she then provided more options for blinds, curtains and rugs. She did all the work finding options in our colour schemes. We were then invited back to her showroom where she collated everything together for us to approve. My husband and I have different tastes (he doesn’t like bling) but I do, so Loraine did a grand job switching things around to suit both our tastes. Then installation day arrived. I disappeared for the day and then received a phone call saying that the ‘big reveal’ was ready. I could not believe the transformation. The lighting, accents and accessories were displayed with such attention to detail. Loraine and Carlo were such a pleasure to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. What a pleasure this whole experience has been as I normally find doing this myself very stressful and have made many costly mistakes in the past and have never had my rooms look this beautiful. I would highly recommend XS Interiors to anyone looking for that little bit of magic in their home. 10/10 experience from start to finish.

Absolutely joyous experience! Loraine really takes time to get to know objectives and had the patience of a saint with me as I know what I like when I see it but have absolutely no ability to choose things myself! (Tough customer) However, Loraine tuned in really quickly and before I knew myself, I was able to clearly explain what I was looking for - maybe she's also a magician?! The wizardry continued to build the concept for a complete Dining Room makeover, proposed the most glorious items across accents, accessories, decor, lighting and furnishing - all selected and provided by Loraine at XS Interiors. Home visit from the outset was so good to have, complimented by perfect level of interaction with real attention to detail and ultimately a seamless installation by her team to "reveal" the final result which I am thrilled with. A superb service which takes the strain away and becomes a real pleasure - delighted with the quality of items, all within agreed budget. Felt good to have everything taken care of, and allowed me to continue my busy days running my small business, knowing I was in the hands of true professionals. Loraine and her team have done a fantastic job on transforming our lounge, dining room and hall. From the start of the project, I felt she really understood us, nothing was too much trouble and her sensible and well thought out strategy resulted in a beautiful home for us to enjoy. Complete lounge and hallways make over It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Loraine and her team. For some time, we had been looking for someone who could guide us through the complicated process of completely revamping our reception room which was suffering from rather tired, dated and frankly, unimaginative décor. From our first approach, Loraine took charge in a reassuring and friendly manner and held our hands through the whole process. In the beginning we met at her place where she showed us a bewildering array of options from her stock. She took the time at that stage to gauge what we were looking for - must haves and absolute nots - before coming out to look at our home and the room in question. This gave her the outline of a plan and an idea of colour schemes. She also identified that we should consider additional work to revitalise the hallway outside the room in question. This made a lot of sense and we returned to meet her again to see her proposed design including the real furniture and objets / accessories, along with sketches of what the finished look would be. Our remodelling involved some joinery work and installation of new radiators which we organised. Loraine’s team were able to facilitate the decorating including window treatments and carpeting. Happily, the team was able to provide a storage facility for our furniture until it was time to complete. Our final reveal was completed in a day, and we are delighted with the upgrade. The room flows so well and it’s a comfortable and relaxing space to be in. We are both completely in agreement that we would never have achieved such an ambience without such expert guidance. Loraine and her helpers made the whole process as painless as possible from start to finish making room for our personal items along the way. All in all, a great experience and we are happy to recommend XS Interiors to anyone considering a redesign or an upgrade to their home.

Loraine and her team provided an excellent and personal service. From start to finish, everything from furnishing selection, through to delivery and installation has been faultless. She managed all this while I have been away, updating me personally with update reports and photos of progress.

Lorraine was fantastic in all areas, from an immediate friendly host in her wonderful showroom to her hugely experienced on site visits. I wasn’t sure what to expect in the first design of the master bedroom, but the modern contemporary feel continued to the living and dining room with a huge effect on my home and I couldn’t be happier. From the design concept to the final article it is wonderful experience and I hope to continue in the rest of the home as soon as I can. The set up and fixings of all items is completed by her professionals. No mess no fuss at all. Excellent. Not only is the home now looking like something from a luxury magazine the experience is a huge learning curve and Lorraine is happy to share anything and offer assistance for small fixes along the way that could be undertaken by myself. loved it Lorraine. Loraine and the XS Interiors team have been a pleasure to work with. From coming up with a concept that my wife and I totally bought into, through the planning, design, selection of materials and furniture stages, we knew we were in safe hands. We didn't need to change anything Loraine had suggested. We were wanting to refresh our main living area, and have always found it very hard to visualise a finished scheme or know where to start. Consequently, we decided to get some ideas from an expert and after a short internet search found Loraine. Our room is an unusual shape and encompasses dining and living room sections. Very quickly we had great confidence in Loraine and were swept along behind all her ideas and inspiration. With her fine eye for detail and her deep understanding of furnishings, accents, accessories and window treatments, along with everything being selected and provided by XS Interiors, it turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. Complete new lounge makeover! We absolutely love our beautiful new room! On trend, while ensuring comfort and longevity. This is the second project that Loraine and Carlo have carried out for me. We downsized and moved in just before lockdown. This brought it own challenges, along with a much smaller space with restricted access. Together, Loraine and Carlo found solutions to every problem in such a professional and personable manner. Loraine is very skilled in understanding personal styles and used this to form the springboard to take us to style choices we would never have considered.
