I highly recommend NJ Kitchens and Bath. They just completed our Kitchen renovation. From the beginning 3D design to the completion of the project it has been a pleasure to work with Andrew and his team. They were highly communicative and responsive and also professional and punctual. We requested a few changes to our original design and Andrew was very accommodating with the changes. Derek completed most of the labor and he is a true craftsman, attention to detail and workmanship. The crew cleaned up everyday before leaving and did an excellent job. We are very happy with our Kitchen renovation. If you are looking for a reliable, professional, communicative company then NJ Kitchen and Baths is the company to use.

We recently used NJ Kitchens and Baths to redo our second floor full bathroom (full gut renovation). From the initial consultation and design to full construction and finishing, the entire NJKB team was professional, responsive, on time and an absolute pleasure to work with. We could not be happier with the results of our renovation. This is truly a company and team that is honest and cares about doing things the right way (and has the experience to provide value-added recommendations). We highly recommend NJ Kitchens and Baths! We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with them. Our kitchen was a complete nightmare and they turned it into a dream. Gerry took our ideas, elevated them, and then turned it into reality. We really loved being able to see the 3D design concept. Andrew was helpful, responsive, and honest throughout the entire process. Darek completed most of the labor and he is a true craftsman with high attention to detail. We knocked down a wall, moved all the plumbing, and even had some challenging exterior brick work from filling in a window and it looks great. Our before and after photos speak for themselves! We shopped around before choosing NJ Kitchens and Baths & now that everything is finished, we’re confident we made the right choice. Everyone else made us feel as though it would be a job they would have to squeeze in or barely gave us the time of day. A few gave us price quotes that were so low we knew that we would end up with huge surprise costs at the end, or so high that we figured they just didn’t want to bother. We had no unexpected costs at the end of the project and everything ran right on time, which is essential when you’re living without a kitchen for a few weeks! We look forward to many happy years in this kitchen & I’m confident that it will stand the test of time.

Andrew, Darek and team did a great job with our recent kitchen remodel. I planned my kitchen for over a year, outlining kitchen designs in excel spreadsheets, and purchased appliances and tiles even before choosing the general contractor. After speaking with multiple companies, we ultimately chose to go with NJ Kitchens and Baths based on their excellent references, flexibility with the date of the project, and ability to work within our budget. Our project was a complete remodel of the kitchen which included repiping of all plumbing and gas lines, rearranging appliances, opening a wall, editing a window, rerouting the baseboard heater, and ducting a rangehood. Right before the start of the project, we found out our 2nd floor bathroom plumbing was clogged, and NJ Kitchens and Baths was able to add it to the list of changes, including adding a whole house filtration, upgrading our electrical panel, and adding a herringbone backsplash. NJ Kitchens and Baths just completed a major renovation to our home in Roseland, NJ. The project included a new kitchen, master bath, guest bath, powder room, interior doors, extensive wood flooring, trim, etc. Gerry, their in-house designer, is an exceptional talent, and Andrew, the owner, and his entire team provided consistent communications, great responsiveness and superb workmanship. From start to finish it was obvious their goal was simply to please. NJ Kitchens and Baths is a wonderful company to work with.

Design Phase We had an architect draw up plans for a complete redesign of our kitchen and powder room. While shopping around for a contractor, we decided to check out NJ kitchens and Baths. We’ve passed the showroom for many years and figured we would talk to them. We worked with Gerry who took the time to make 3D computer renderings of our plans. During the process we realized some aspects of the plans we’d like to change. If it wasn’t for that time he spent with us, we would have had some expensive adjustments during the project. He was very friendly and really knows his stuff. The design process takes a while, especially for an extensive redesign like we were doing. So if you are thinking of a major redo, plan for a long design cycle. Our house is over 100 years old. Our remodel was extensive. It involved putting a beam inside the ceiling, rerouting ALL of our plumbing supply and waste stacks and a steam pipe that went through the kitchen. During the quote phase, they made sure they understood as much of the project as possible. They ensured they understood the entire scope of the plumbing work by checking every floor where there was plumbing. This was something other contractors didn’t do. The quote was way more detailed than any other contractor which told me that they not only understood the project, but had clarity on what was in scope and what wasn’t. Construction phase Our house was a challenge because of its age and what people have done to it over the years. These guys handled it like the pros that they are. Things that were crooked became level. Things that were done wrong in the past were fixed and done right. The building inspector commented on how well everything was built. Also the beam that they had to put in had some obstacles but they still made it work perfectly. Very impressed. Everyone on the job was very trustworthy and they took extra care by protecting the rest of the house by putting up and laying down tarps and plastic sheets. During the project we uncovered some major issues with the bathroom above the kitchen and decided to redo that as well. They weaved that additional work into the plan nicely. Communication Working with Andrew, who is the main point of contact during construction, was very responsive. He responds to text, phone and email and was always eager to check things out when necessary. I always felt like I was his top priority. He is very honest and open and absolutely loved working with him. This was one of the most important aspects of the project and he did not disappoint. Overall I couldn’t be happier with the work that they did on our kitchen and 2nd floor bathroom. I was really happy with all of the structural work and things you can’t see now that it’s done. I’m equally happy with the outcome of the finished product. It’s beautiful and it exceeded my expectations. I would totally recommend NJ Kitchens and Baths to anyone and would definitely use them again.

NJ Kitchens and Baths did an excellent job in my master and guest baths. Everything was done in a professional and very competent manner. Even though my project was most likely smaller than some other projects that NJ Kitchens & Baths handle, I appreciated the personalized attention that it was given. I highly recommend Andrew & his team!!

We read most of the reviews at various sites and honestly, they sounded almost too good to be true. We had to check out NJ Kitchens and Baths. It was a great decision. Dealing with Andrew was a pleasure. We found him to be honest, transparent and fair. He showed up on time and always responded to our phone calls and emails. On the rare occasions that he was delayed, we received a phone call. There is nothing more frustrating than contractors who are unresponsive. There was none of that. We did a bathroom renovation in late summer of 2017. We were told to expect some surprises after the room was gutted as it is an older house that had prior, poor-quality renovations. There were some significant obstacles, but they were handled quickly and reasonably. The finished product was beyond our expectations. His workers and sub-contractors were pleasant, professional and highly skilled. They left the jobsite neat at the end of each day. The job went smoothly and was completed on time despite several obstacles. Each of the inspectors not only passed the inspections, but also commented on the high quality of the work. That is very good to hear. The list of references we received prior to signing was impressive; there were 76 references from 2011-2016. That is a testament to the consistent quality of work that we also experienced. We will be adding our names to the list. We are currently in the middle of a kitchen/dining room renovation. There was never a question that NJ Kitchens and Baths would be doing it. Enough said.

I am writing this review because I think that NJ Kitchens and Baths deserves it more than any other contractor that I’ve ever worked with. In all honesty, the moment I spoke to their architect, I felt very comfortable but had so much difficulty pulling the trigger because of all the contractor horror stories out there. Andrew (owner) is the real deal. He runs a highly professional, and more importantly, trustworthy company. He’s the most honest and thoughtful contractor you’ll ever meet. He will ensure that you are fully happy with the process and the end result. The entire team was awesome and made this experience such a breeze. They explained every detail of the process so that there weren’t any surprises along the way. Amazing attention to detail and incredibly responsive. I was pleasantly surprised with the timeline and they really went above and beyond my expectations. Andrew made sure that his team took the extra measure to clean up and keep debris to a minimum so that it wouldn’t impact my asthma. These guys are full service -- from creating the design to following through in making it exactly as it was planned. Everyone worked hard and made my dreams come true. Each of the these wonderful people took the time to explain everything they were doing during the course of the project and were always professional, patient and courteous. Some may think the cost is higher but you get what you pay for. I am thoroughly happy and satisfied with how my bathroom renovation project turned out. I look forward to having them work on my second bathroom (a master bath). I will forever be a devoted customer. And, as much as I didn’t want to write this review for fearing that their clientele would grow to a point where I couldn’t hire them again, I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a contractor. There are truly no words to explain the joy I feel today with the completion of the bathroom. I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them without any reservation.
