Todd Bradley, Lisa Simmons and their crews build a quality house. We are very happy with how our house was built back in June of 2016. We all have some issues along the way, but Todd was thorough, empathetic and easy to work with to resolve each and every concern in a timely and professional way. Even a few that were out of warranty. I would highly recommend them.

I give Live Oak my highest recommendation. Deciding to build a house was a huge decision for us as we have always purchased previously built houses. We interviewed five possible home builders. We talked with a lot of trusted friends in our community, and checked various online sites and public records, to gather as much information on each as we could. My assessment of Live Oak Builders and Todd Bradley never changed, from the first time I met him to the present, at more than six months after completion of our build. In my opinion, Live Oak Builders is the best builder we could hope for. Everyone there listed to our needs, wants, and desires. They steered us away from unneeded expense and at other times counseled us to spend money in certain areas - and we are glad we listened. Various decision-points came up during the build and these folks were there to advise us and ensure that our decisions were carried out. Of course, on turn-over day there were items that needed to be addressed. Live Oak has responded quickly to address every single concern we have raised. We have not had to “chase them around” to get resolution and often they followed-up with me before I followed-up with them. I admit to being a difficult person to do business with and I have been consistently impressed with Live Oak in terms of how quickly they respond, and with the nature of their response.

They were always there to answer any of our questions. We thought that building our house living 400 miles away, was going to create a lot of tension, but everything went smoothly and we were at ease knowing that we hired the best builder to do the best work for our needs. We interviewed several prominent builders to construct our dream home in the South Carolina Low Country - selecting Live Oak Builders was a no-brainer. Living hundreds of miles away from the site was supposed to be a major hassle but Todd and his team managed the entire project flawlessly, keeping us informed with weekly status and progress pictures. Other than Mother Nature's (Hurricane Matthew) impact, the project was delivered according to schedule beyond our expectations. Live Oak did an excellent job of building our additionn as well as major revovations to the existing structure. Todd Bradley is very good at creative ideas and solutions to the issues that occur when doing a custom construction job. Live Oak employs an excellent staff. Lisa Simmons for one is very organized and has a good sense of style which we found very helpful while trying to make so many choices. Todd is very selective when choosing subcontractors. We found all of them to be honest, considerate and competent. Some of his subs were stellar. if you plan to build in the Beaufort, SC area, you should sit down and talk to Live Oak. I think you will be impressed.

Todd Bradley of Live Oak Builders updated and remodeled our guest bathroom. He and his staff did an outstanding job and also came up with very creative ideas. His crews were very respectful and always made sure the job was completed to our satisfaction. They always left the job site in immaculate condition.
