His willingness to set himself apart as a general contractor through the use of the highest quality materials, the best contractors and tradesmen, and a keen eye for design, has given Brian a history of exceeding client’s requirements and expectations. After years of working in various trades (roofing, framing, exterior finishes, high end interior finishes), Brian began working with a high quality, custom home builder in West Michigan. As a site construction manager there for ten years, he utilized his ability to understand fit, form and function and executed all of these principals into every project he managed. In 2002, Brian's passion became a reality when he set out on his own as Sytsma Construction LLC. His expertise has produced some of the highest quality residential construction in West Michigan. By taking advantage of his years working in the trades, Brian is able to work collaboratively with subcontractors and tradesmen at a very high level of detail, ultimately leading to quality workmanship early in the project lifecycle. This team approach is the essence of Brian’s ability to effectively communicate his and his client’s expectations and desires while providing the professional oversight required for each specific project. Brian cares deeply for his clients. He gets to know them and their families closely and is then able to turn client’s needs, desires and dreams into reality.
