My wife Maureen and I interviewed several designers before we were lucky enough to find Monica Ledesma from Design Studio on 2nd Street in Long Beach, California. It was time to completely remodel our 35 year old master bath. Monica not only came up with a wonderful design but also helped us choose the fixtures and finishes that suited our tastes and life style. Monica worked closely with our contractor and oversaw the entire project. We love the result and will not hesitate to call her for future projects David and Maureen Mardesich

Working with Monica on our dream kitchen and den was a joy. she had a vision for the space that we never could have imagined. She worked well with all of the different trades as well as our general contractor. A number of times she saved us from ourselves as we were about to make decisions that would not have been right. Her experience and taste worked well with our sense of what we wanted. She gave us more than we could have hoped for, and we had a lot of fun along the way. If you want a beautiful space, either new construction or renovation, you can't go wrong working with Monica. We also enjoyed working with Marquita Richards, Monica's design assistant as she took care of some of the drawings and other details.

This was the first large-scale renovation we have done, and we could not be any happier with the finished product! Monica flawlessly integrated our individual preferences and styles into a cohesive design. She also brought with her incredibly reliable industry professionals. Monica is not only a fabulous designer, but also adept at leading you through the design and build process. I typically agonize over making decisions, and to say that this project intimidated me would be an understatement. Throughout the process, she helped me feel comfortable and confident with our choices. By no means is renovating your home easy, and there were certainly bumps along the way, but there is no one I would have rather had by our side.

Building / Restoration contractor in Southern California. Worked with Monica on a logistically difficult job combined with a complicated client. Job turned out beautiful in the end. Clients were happy, contractors were happy, before and after pictures were amazing. No job ever runs perfectly smoothly, but when things came up Monica did a good job getting in front of them.

Look no further for your interior designer. Monica is the real deal. She has an excellent eye for how colors and textures and materials come into play to match your style. Monica helped design our kitchen, 3 full bathrooms, and a powder room. Click on "Fullerton Farmhouse" for pictures. Monica is a true professional. She is gifted, creative, and extremely personable. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her! Monica is passionate about her work and it will show in her beautiful designs for your home. I wouldn't hesitate to call on Monica again for future projects.

Kevin Kennedy

Ours was a big project. Every room, wall, and almost every stick of furniture is new, and despite that we came to the project with absolutely no experience of remodeling a home. We didn't even have a designer or builder in mind until we met Monica. We feel God must have had a hand in this because she immediately grasped what it was we wanted to accomplish even when we weren't sure ourselves. She initially introduced us to our builder Tommy Cole and made several proposed designs for us to choose from. She was with us every step of the way, and always had the calm demeanor of someone who's been in the business for many years. We are the kind of people who have no design talent but we know we like it when we see it. Monica is really so much more than just and interior designer, but boy is she good at interior design. One thing we did appreciate about Monica was that she was so good at finding beautiful designer quality at low cost. She showed us that you don't have to go to Thomasville or Ethan Allen to find high quality furniture or accessories. I can say that Monica has become our friend and I couldn't recommend her highly enough.
