Darmaga Hardwood Flooring was highly recommended by a friend of mine. My wife and I went to their showroom to see what products they had and were very happy with the quality and selection of materials and selected Vintage flooring for our choice. Once we made our selection a representative of the company, Rick, came to the house to take measurements and finalize a price. The installation crew attended on the date promised and Gabriel and his helper did an excellent job installing the hardwood and completed the work in one day. Darmaga is a very experienced and professional company that I would not hesitate to recommend to anybody. Dealing with Darmaga was a absolute pleasure.

This was my third time ordering from Darmaga. We used them in a previous home (I think they installed the floor too) and twice in the current home (wood supply only as we had lined up installers from our GM and designer's contractors). The whole establishment is top notch and interested in doing right for their customers. This time I worked with a gentleman named Max and we ordered Vintage northern solid sawn planks. Max helped us think things through, pointed out advantages and disadvantages of the selections we were interested in, followed up with the manufacturer more than once, and was extremely careful to get the paperwork right. Delivery was right on time and as promised.

Darmaga removed carpet and installed flooring for my family room. They were able to match my existing hardwood in the living/dining rooms. They did an excellent job and I will definitely call them again for any future flooring projects.

A tale of Two Hardwood Flooring Companies When I first bought my condo and sought quotes for putting wood floors in my two bedrooms, I was told by my realtor that Darmaga had an excellent reputation. But I didn't use them. Instead, I got the typical three quotes, and went with the middle quote - which a larger (I won't name) company had given me. The people from the unnamed company charged me for levelling the cement floor (though they did not level it correctly so the floor is now cracking), for using the cork underlay (though I found out later that they used a too-thin layer to meet the building sound proofing requirements and so the people below me complained), used an inferior product (that they told me could be refinished 10 times, but which the refinisher I called says cannot be refinished even once), left the floor covered with bits of glue that they never returned to clean (they made numerous appointments to do so but never showed up), and that glue remains marring the floor 10 years later, and expected my building super to provide them with some of the tools they needed. For my next floor project, the living/dining room, I went straight to Darmaga. They gave excellent advice, went out of their way to be helpful, recommended a good and honest company to prepare the cement floor, used a beautiful good quality wood with excellent soundproofing, did a perfect installation, came when they said they would, finished when they said they would, and earned high praise from my condo super and management. Several people in my building have used Darmaga and are very happy with their work.
