Denise Hall Montgomery Architecture

Denise Hall Montgomery Architecture is a Berkeley based design firm that specializes in modern design, architecture and planning. Each project carries with it a unique set of circumstances. We strive to find inspiration in those circumstances and to bring a fresh approach to each situation. We provide our clients with comprehensive services grounded in clear communication. This enables a smooth navigation through the complex building process. we make the design process inclusive, with client participation in each phase. Projects take form through the use of drawings, physical and electronic models, as well as other media, the intent of which is clarity, understanding and successful resolution of issues. Denise has practiced Architecture in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1992. She holds Masters in both Architecture, and City and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelors in Architectural Engineering from the University of Kansas. Prior to starting her firm in 2006, Denise worked at the San Francisco offices of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, LLP where she was a Senior Design Architect on numerous projects including the Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland, and the US Embassy in Beijing. Denise also holds the rank of first degree black belt in Kajukenbo Kung Fu.
