My boyfriend and I recently bought a condo together on York Street and we wanted professionals to help design our very first condo and we got a lot for what we paid! Lori and Owen were very helpful in answering all of our questions and did an amazing job designing our condo. They made sure that we loved every aspect of it and we do! Thank you again for everything that you did!

Lori and Owen were so easy to work with. Their professionalism, and expertise made it fun and exciting to work with them. Lori was able to capture exactly what I wanted my home to look and feel like. She worked very hard to stay within our budget. I was completely awestruck at the gorgeous transformation of our living room and dining room. I look forward to working with Lori and her team on our personal master bedroom in the near future.

My husband and I recently moved from the west coast of Canada to Toronto. As we didn’t want to drive a u haul across the country, we hired Hope Designs to help us design our new interiors. Lori and Owen were both very helpful in sourcing and shopping for furniture and decor for our new home. they also helped with paint colours and new rugs for the home. We had an idea of what we wanted our house to look like, Lori and Owen went above and beyond to create our dream house. They we’re both so accommodating and helped make our transition smooth. We are excited to start our new chapter of life in our new home.

I was totally disappointed. I was charmed by Owen on the phone who indicated that for $500 he and Lori would come through my house and help to re-arrange my furniture and art to make it look more organized. I had just moved in but hadn't placed anything. He said he would be able to get most of the house staged in two hours but not all. Unfortunately Lori wasn't able to come so instead of 4 professional hours for $500 I was given around 3 (Lori had a completely acceptable explanation, I do not fault her for not coming, but the appointment was cancelled and re-scheduled and when it was rescheduled it was not explained to me that Lori would missing the rescheduled appointment as well, though given that the reason was serious I perhaps should have assumed this.) Owen stayed for three hours (though his alarm went off every 20 minutes or so, as if to remind him to leave). Owen spent the first hour making floor plans of my rooms the way it was. He then recommended where I should place lamps and a small table. He provided me with the floor plan which really was of no use to me (it was a drawing of how my room already was). He seemed very afraid to move anything and would often say, "It is up to you..." or "it depends on what you like". In the last 45 min he put up the art work in my children's rooms and that looked great. He just picked up a hammer and did it. Unfortunately this left me with most of the house still untouched. So I ended up hiring somebody recommended by my real estate agent. She came and immediately got to work. With a helper she moved lots of furniture, moving pieces from downstairs, upstairs and vice versa. She used the furniture and art I had to complete the house instead of suggesting other pieces (though to be fair to Owen I had told him I was open to buying more pieces). In the end we didn't need anything and the house looks great. She hung one of our carpets on a large staircase wall and it looks sensational (no need to buy a big piece of art - we used what we had!) Two other minor things - Owen had hung a mirror in a corner, which she rehung where I now see it every day as I leave the house. So much more practical. And finally, Owen had told me he would send me examples of the chairs and other furniture he recommended I purchase but it has been a full month and he has not. I had thought that if he did that I would not be so disappointed with the 3 hours of service when I paid for 4. Oh well, instead I will write this review. I would not recommend Hope Designs for this type of small project. There was no gain to the short two hour appointment and I had to pay twice for one service.

Lori has a great knowledge of where to shop and source for products, large selection of decorating needs for staging houses and condos. Performs jobs efficiently and professionally, always available to ask questions and consult. Hope Designs team is able to get the job done in a timely and clean fashion. Friendly employees and amazing team.

I’ve hired many designers over the years but Lori and her team are by far the best! I’ve had several negative experiences with trying to get a hold of companies and they never return my calls. I’ve also felt in the past I didn’t really feel like I got what I paid for however, with Lori every penny was well spent. She is very responsive to all my calls, texts and emails. Lori is a very personable person, yet a knowledgeable designer. She didn’t make me feel ignorant in the design realm, which I can admit I am. I wasn’t sure what I wanted specifically so Lori worked hard to give me veristile and functional designs that best fit the space. She also explained the process so I understood where to best put my somewhat limited funds. I’m so glad everything got done on time and stayed below my budget! Lori will be the first one I call next time. I usually don’t leave reviews but Hope Designs exceeded my expectations so much I had to!

As a Realtor I have worked with quite a few stagers over the years, but none who get the job done quite like Lori and the team at Hope Designs. Lori is professional, timely, incredibly creative, and takes a consultative approach to staging (which my clients love!). No matter the property, Lori's artistic touch always helps my clients sell their homes for top dollar. She is an integral part to my listing strategies - I couldn't recommend her and her services enough!

I hired Hope Designs to design the main floor of my house, I was excited by all of the knowledge and information that was provided to me during this time, which can be quite stressful. Hope Designs exceeded all of my expectations, they were a joy to work with. They listened to exactly what I wanted and provided me with a wonderful service. The project turned out just as I hoped it would and we were able to stay within our budget. The contractors that Hope Designs recommended were also very professional and did an amazing job. I can’t wait to entertain in my newly updated living room, dining room and kitchen.

I was fortunate enough to meet Lori while my husband and I were in search of a stager for our downtown condo. We had never utilized a stager before and were very pleased with the outcome of working with Hope Designs. Lori and her team were accommodating, helpful, considerate and very professional. With their assistance, we were able to sell our condo within 2 weeks of it being on the market. We highly recommend this company to anyone selling their home.

I had Hope Designs come out and help me redesign my outdated kitchen. From start to finish it was a pleasure working with them and I am completely satisfied with my new and improved kitchen!

My mother had recently moved to Toronto and purchased a condo that was approximately 10 years old. The condo interior was dated (yellow walls, old washrooms, old fixtures, etc). Other interior decorating/design companies would not touch this project, as they seemed too pretentious to take on a $15,000 "small" project. Lori and Owen were happy to help! They really seemed interested in making my mother happy and making her place look great, and keeping her within budget. The other thing that was nothing short of a miracle, was how fast they completed the project. Lori and Owen had their contract team come in and gut the place, paint every nook, install new washrooms, tiling, carpet, fixtures, light switches, door handles, electrical outlets, etc in less than a week, as we had a tight deadline. I'm not sure anyone else could have made this happen in this time frame. Her contractor (Joy) was nothing less than an absolute pleasure to deal with. Very clean, always on time, and came back to fix anything that he had missed. Hope Designs has my highest recommendation, the contractor they use as well, and I will use them in the future for my next purchase, without a doubt.

I wish I had the choice to add a 6th star to the star rating. Beyond Lori & her teams excellent customer service & impeccable design choices, even before we started the project together, she shared valuable information with me that helped me determine the scope of work & tremendous value it would bring to the home I was selling. The home Sold 108% of list price in less than a week, happy clients = happy me. They are part of my dream team!
