If I had to choose one thing that stands out most, it's the fact that throughout the entire process, from design to completion, they listened to our thoughts and ideas and worked hard to make it happen. We have ended up with a home that we love. We made new friends in the process.

Timberlake Custom Homes worked with us to custom-build the house we have been living in for the past ten months as our sole residence. The planning and construction phase went very well. Post-construction we continue to be extremely pleased with the outcome. All staff members were very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and patient with us - two old people, one of whom is really grumpy! The three focused days in their office for finalizing design and selecting interior and exterior details were time well spent. As expected, we forgot a couple of things that became last-minute change orders. Those changes were handled without any problem. The online system made it easy to communicate during the building process. We especially appreciate the site photos we received as construction progressed, given that we built the house while living 3.5 hours away!

12/19/2018 To Whom it may concern, We recently completed construction using Timberlake. We worked with the owner (Chip) throughout, preliminary designer (Jon), on-site foreman (Cale), and design consultants (Kate, Erin & Victoria). The project was a 4 bedroom/4 bath home on Lake Nottely, Blairsville, Georgia. We are very satisfied with the workmanship and the materials. In large projects, there are always some bumps – this was no exception. Timberlake handled them well. Change Orders are where the contractor can really hurt the homeowner. This did NOT happen. All Change Orders were fairly priced and delivered as expected. Additionally, Timberlake allowed us to purchase some of our materials from other than their suppliers. We did so with some electrical and plumbing fixtures, mantels and fireplace log inserts. During the project all Timberlake resources were made available on a timely basis. Punch List items were addressed to our satisfaction. In conclusion, we are vey happy with the results from Timberlake and their subcontractors. If anyone wishes to contact us - do so. Timberlake in Hiawassee, GA, remodeled a house on Lake Chatuge for us. The company is honest, reliable, competent, and respectful. Their innovative design concepts resulted in a beautiful, unique, and comfortable vacation home. This remodeling project involved a complete home makeover--tongue and groove ceilings, new flooring, kitchen, master bathroom, and a second-floor addition (bedroom, bathroom, and sitting room). Even though the project took a little longer than expected, the contractor stayed in close communication with us throughout the remodeling process.

We have been doing construction clean-up of the windows in the houses built by Timberlake for several years. They are a pleasure to work with! Their communication is always prompt. We work with many builders and would rate Timberlake at the top of the list. Recently, we were cleaning the windows on a house that we've cleaned for many years. Initially, we sketched our plan then took it to an architect for structural design. Had we realized Timberlake's expertise in drawing plans we could have saved a lot of time and money. Timberlake built my house in North Carolina I live in Florida and this is my second home. I found them on the internet and communicated with them through the internet faxes and pictures. They helped me with ideas and having not been there to actually see in person they were very accommodating.
