I ordered a chair from BD back in early October. I was told they were back ordered but the Eames Chair and Ottoman reproduction would be shipped by Nov 6, 2020. On Nov 9, I received an email with a shipping number and link. The link was invalid and referred to a website that doesn’t exist. Further, the FedEx shipping number is also invalid. After several unanswered emails and phone calls that went unanswered, I finally got in touch with someone (Nov 11). She told me the chair would be shipped that day and I would receive an updated email the next morning. That didn’t happen. I called back. I was told the same thing. In fact, I’ve been told the same thing every day since Nov 11. (Today is Nov 17.) I’m afraid I’ve been scammed. Calling my credit card number and disputing the charge and will be contacting authorities to report fraud shortly.

I ordered chairs from BD back in August. At the time, there was nothing on the website to indicate that they were back ordered. The only thing that it said on their site was that they would ship in 1-2 days with free FedEx shipping. It has now been two months and I still do not have the chairs. I had to call them up (also a nightmare) to ask what was going on after 4 weeks with no response and no chairs. It was then that they finally said they were back ordered and they said that if I wanted to, they could charge my card and that would put me first in line when they arrived in the warehouse. That is shady to say the least. Now at almost 8 weeks with no delivery, they aren't answering my email or returning my phone call.

Although their products are sophisticated and well made, their business methods are dismal! WHAT A NIGHTMARE dealing with Barcelona Designs!! I ordered 2 white Barcelona chairs for a project I was working on and my client decided against them very soon after they arrived. I returned the chairs in a timely fashion following meticulously the company's own directions for returns. After the shipment arrived at their warehouse, they could not find the shipment boxes for a month! Then when found, they offered me only 500.00 for the cushions saying that was the only part of the chairs they could re-utilize. Then when I followed up and requested the forms needed for the return to be issued to me, they changed their story and said NO REFUND CAN BE ISSUED AT ALL!! What a NIGHTMARE!! My client is out $1,900. which I will have to reimburse instead of Barcelona Designs which advertises that they will refund your money when the products are returned.

After moving from California, I had a huge issue furnishing my house and having to replace my furniture. I went to Barcelona Designs when referred by my roommate to check out replacements for my Eames lounge chair, Arco lamp rather than buying original pieces. I definitely did not want to buy similar pieces of my furniture nor was I expecting it to be a pleasant and painless experience. I am glad I visited these guys and I absolutely love my living room furniture and ESPECIALLY love that they delivered and assembled for me, free of charge, 2 days after l purchased. The prices and customer service are the best in town! Will definitely refer all friends to Barcelona-Designs for all of their modern furniture needs!

Last week, i bought the Arco Lamp Replica by Barcelona Designs. What unique style! Love love love it! The beautiful white marble base and the unique arch, take my breath away! I have always been a big fan of Achille Castiglioni and owning this is such a high. This lamp is almost an exact replica of the original one. Apart from the swerved curve of the Arco Floor Lamp replica, the pores atop the hood are simply breathtaking! And not to forget, the staff of Barcelona Designs was super helpful whether the phone or on email. With the step-by-step assembly manual provided by Barcelona Designs, get the lamp together was a piece of cake! Last but not the least, I must say that I got a lot of after sales service from the Barcelona Designs people. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with them and I am definite of going back to them for more great replica furniture.
