Lightopia, established in 2004, is an omni-channel lighting retailer for residential customers and trade professionals. We have a top notch shopping experience on our website and designer lighting showrooms in Manhattan Beach and Costa Mesa. We represent brands focused on contemporary design, quality materials and responsible manufacturing, and help our clients solve architectural and decorative lighting needs utilizing the latest LED lighting technology. We do this 7 days a week with teamwork, expertise, and a helpful attitude, to make your lighting experience with us a phenomenal one. Simply put, we are not an internet retailer with a call center. Our experienced staff is in the field daily to develop lighting concepts that help realize the vision of each client. We are home to over one thousand curated and exclusive light fixtures spanning from vintage to contemporary and modern. In order to see and feel the nuances of energy-efficient lighting technology, we have built a state of the art architectural LED lighting lab with the latest lighting and control technology on the market. Lightopia is amazing! As a interior designer I have been using them as my go to resource for lighting since the day I set foot in their store in 2006 and now there is a second larger showroom with lots great architectural lighting displays and truly unique fixtures in Manhattan Beach. Lightopia represents a wide and varied line of manufacturers for every price point, both residential and commercial. What I really appreciate about the store is the great service, the sales staff is personable, knowledgeable and passionate about all aspects of lighting, as a design professional this is an invaluable resource. Lighting is a key component of design whether it is architectural in application or decorative. Their sales associates always go the extra mile, checking any technical specifications with the vendor or sales rep. The orders are always detailed and clear. Give Lightopia a try, I highly recommend them! They also have a great website and orders can be placed on line.

I am currently building a new home and went to the Lightopia website and then their Manhattan Beach store. Very impressive. Their staff was professional and knowledgeable. They helped me layout my entire lighting program for a 4000 s.f. home. Great ideas and cool design. I would recommend to anyone building or remodeling their home.

I purchased my home "as is". I was required by the City of Laguna Beach to install flourescent lighting in my kitchen. My cottage was built in the '30s and I was concerned that I would not be able to find a flourescent light fixture that would retain the vintage style of my home. The sales representative helped me select the perfect fixture from their large variety of options. I ended up installing new fixtures throughout the exterior of my home. I would highly recommend Lightopia.
