David Mitchell has a unique philosophy about interior design. It is that each client is an individual and a client’s house should reflect their personality. There is a big difference between designing a home for a family with 4 children and designing a home for a single man. With over 20 years of experience, David Mitchell has the talent and know how to do both. He feels that designing should be fun, interesting, educational and a true collaboration between himself and his clients. Because of his unique perspective, David has been published in many shelter publications, such as House Beautiful, Veranda, Home & Design, Luxe, Southern Living, Metropolitan Home, Traditional Home, and Southern Accents. He was chosen by Southern Accents magazine to design the entire Old Dominion Showhouse/2005, in McLean, Virginia, as well as being chosen one of House Beautiful magazines top 100 Interior Designers.
