We used Staprans for design and build for our house in Portola Valley California. Our style was 'elegant rustic'. Our tastes are expensive, but our budget was tight. The result was incredible. Examples: Beautiful cabinet design using reclaimed elm. Carefully crafted stairs to fit our house flows. Gorgeous walnut use throughout, including tables, benches. We worked with Lisa and Armin Staprans and loved the finished product. They converted a large room into a home office and library for my husband and helped with interior design, window upgrades and new front door. Lisa has a fantastic aesthetic. She is able to accessorize clean modern interiors with unique handcrafted textiles and objects so that each home is distinct and perfectly suited to the functional needs and tastes of her clients. Lisa cares deeply about the pedigree of the products she sources. She meticulously researches each item to know how it's made and by whom. Each item selected by Lisa tells a story and delights homeowner and guest alike.

Lisa has brought several clients to Metro Lighting over the years. We are always impressed with her clarity of vision, and how well she listens to and collaborates with her clients. She is equally respectful of the work we do at Metro Lighting. She, Armin, and their clients will often choose lighting from our "standard" designs which we fabricate in our own metal shop, but sometimes we work together to create custom pieces. This is especially rewarding, as Lisa truly appreciates the work of local artisans and understands the leap of faith from sketch to reality that comes with artisans creating beautiful products.

We are thrilled with the work done by Lisa and Armin. We gutted and remodeled four bathrooms, a laundry room, and kitchen great room. We worked with Lisa as the designer and Armin as the contractor. Lisa's creativity and vision along with Armin's knowledge and practical wisdom make a team that worked on all levels. We had a good working relationship that led to a job done on time and within our budget. Lisa is full of resources and especially talented at finding beautiful options at desirable price points Both Armin and Lisa are very responsive to concerns and accessible to talk through all questions and find creative solutions to the many challenges that emerge in the process. We have a home that we feel has been transformed by their work into everything we had hoped for.

I have been working with Staprans Designs for almost five years and descibe their team as masterful, soulful, creative, innovative, and respectful. They have transformed my living space into a haven of serenity. Each colour, dimension, light, and piece of wood was chosen with intent to satisfy all my senses: Sight: colour, lighting, decor to perfection Auditory: Healing sound of Japanese chimes from the doorbell Scent : Olfactory stimualation with each candle and bouquet of flowers Touch: Textures from rugs organically cleaned and brought from the Himalyan peaks The works of Lisa and Armin create peace within our living spaces. Staprans Design is one of the most remarkable firms to work with. Lisa Staprans has a keen and thoughtful eye when selecting just the right pieces, textures and color for each project she does. She earnestly listens to her clients, and their families (or employees) about what they want from their spaces, as well she considers the location, natural environment, light and the sounds of the area and creates a balance fitting for all. The materials she presents to clients are real. She does a great deal of homework to make sure that she is presenting products that are responsibly made and crafted, mostly from natural materials and often by artisans, or smaller companies who produce quality goods. I have worked on design teams with Staprans Design for many years, from small interior enhancement projects to 20,000 sq ft residences, and a variety of commercial spaces. Lisa is passionate about her work, diligent, thoughtful and professional.

This is a great design firm that truly understands the needs of the client as an individual. We used them for a major kitchen design and remodel project and the results were outstanding. The level of attention to design detail and the needs of our family and lifestyle was amazing. We loved their work so much that we've used them on two other projects. Lisa and Armin have years or experience with large and small design projects. We've known their work for years and can highly recommend them for any project large and small.

I have known and worked with Lisa Strapans on a professional level for about 20 years. She is a consummate professional, in that she knows what she needs to do and does it, and does it well. While what is posted here may only be a sampling of her work, a close examination of her broad knowledge of design should impress even the most discriminating critic. A look at Lisa's work is testimony to her design aesthetic, weather she is designing a mountain retreat or your home you can be confident in receiving a well appointed place to call home.

Comentado: What kind of stone is the peninsula?The stone is called " Pietra Grigio" we did a honed finish which give is more of a grey /blue coloring: we got this stone from Fox Marble in SF and they also fabricated it for me
