First, I would like to apologize again that you feel you had such a horrible experience with us. I would like to address your concerns once again. The "damages" you refer to was the dirt from the front walkway that was excavated and that you agreed to be dumped in the backyard. You were not clear on where you wanted the pile moved to and as a result it was put in an area that was in fact on your neighbors property line. You apologized countless times to us and our crew that you were not clear on where it should be put and you did not specify the property line; you were very upset because you didn't know how your neighbors would react. Approx. 30 ft from your driveway; you have a propane tank buried underground. We had to stay clear of the propane tank which didn't give us a direct path to the area to dump the dirt. We relocated the dirt per your request, supplied top soil and grass seed to both areas, again. While moving the pile of dirt; there was a large rock in the path to the area that we were putting the pile; we also pushed the rock. It was never specified that this rock was placed there intentionally, or at least it certainly didn't look as if it was. You then asked for the rock to be moved back to where it was. We agreed to move the rock back - however, this would require a much larger machine. Even though you had agreed to have us dump the excavated dirt in the backyard, it was very clear how upset you were that machine tracks were left on the grass. I offered a credit to try and resolve the matter to leave the rock where it was to not further "damage" your lawn or cause you further upset. We supplied and installed top soil and grass seed again and offered to have a professional landscaper to come out and hydro-seed your lawn or do anything else they felt fit to resolve the matter to appease you at our cost. I asked you if I could have them come out to assess the lawn and you agreed. The highly reputable landscape company stated we did a more than acceptable job with the top soil and grass seed and that since your entire lawn is crab grass and/or dead yellow grass that if we hydro-seeded those areas it would make it even more noticeable. We feel we have been more than willing to work with you on this. In regard to the pattern: during the initial paver selection process we came to your house on three separate occasions delivering you samples of pavers at your request because you did not have time to visit our suppliers. We've exchanged numerous emails and correspondence on the selections. You finally chose a 2-piece paver style and you chose a pattern layout that was meant for a 4-piece paver style. There wasn't much room to play with the pattern because you had a 2-piece style with no border course. We reached out to you with texts and phone calls while we were installing the pavers to let you know that the pattern you chose was not attainable, with no response. We proceeded until your husband came home and spoke with him on the phone and explained that the sheet I had sent to you had a 4-piece pattern and that was the one you had chosen. He then called you, sent you pictures and you said it was okay to proceed. We installed the pavers and spoke to you that evening and you said it looked good and were happy with it but just wanted the large rock moved back to its original place. As previously mentioned, moving this rock back would result in driving another large machine in the backyard where we already spread top soil and grass seed causing further "damage". You agreed to leave the rock where it is and take a credit off of the final invoice. I am surprised to hear about a paver repair that was attempted to be corrected but not done? You have not mentioned this in your other reviews that you left on the internet. Also - the timeline you list is inaccurate. We met with you in May and we're backed up about two months putting our start date in July which you agreed to, the project was not going on for months. We feel that we tried to rectify the issues with multiple attempts and even with a substantial credit, it is unfortunate that you are still left this unhappy and I do apologize. We wish you the best. Thank you, Katie
