The Main Deck

Joe and his company, Main Deck, exceeded our expectations. We had interviewed three prospective deck contractors to replace our existing wood deck. While sitting down with Joe he thoroughly explained everything Main Deck would do including how he would correct the bowed deck support and why the railing that he would install was superior to other railings. He showed up on time and completed the work in two days. He and his crew cleaned up when the work was done. I had asked Joe at the end of the first day if he could replace a warped piece of wood below the sliding glass door under the deck that was not part of the deck replacement. He said that he would, he replaced the board the next day and never charged for the additional work. We would highly recommend Main Deck and Joe to redo an existing deck or install a new deck.

This is the second time we hired Joe for his expert craftsmanship. The recent project was for a roof to provide shade over a clear cedar deck, which he built 23 years ago. The deck continues to look amazing; the outstanding quality of his work endured the test of time. He creatively combined “old with new,” resulting in a breath-taking outdoor room. We’re so thrilled to benefit from his expertise, once again!

We were looking for a quality deck contractor who could not only build a deck but also help design and build a covered roof. We asked Main Deck to come out and provide a quote and during that same visit the owner was able to draw out a proposed roof line, provide recommendation as to how to design the deck and provide a ballpark estimate of the costs. No other contractor could do that. We hired Main Deck in the spring of 2017 and were extremely pleased with the results and would recommend them to anyone. The roofline and deck look like it was part of the original house design. My friends and neighbors were amazed as to how he was able to tie in the existing roof line with the new addition. My husband & I met Joe Dilio, owner of Main Deck LLC, in August of 2016. We were seeking a professional who could build a mini deck for our backyard, plus demolishing the existing structure that was there. Joe promptly set an appointment with us to evaluate & estimate how much a new deck would cost us. He also let us know he was finishing up other jobs & would be a few weeks before he could start. We told him our budget amount for what we hoped to get. Joe came back within 24 hours with an estimate, design to do the job. We were very happy with his professionalism and details for this job. Being that we weren't in a hurry, I told Joe he could start the job later in December 2016. That worked for everyone involved. He began the job on December 19 2016 and was completely & beautifully finished on December 23, 2016. His outstanding knowledge of his trade is remarkable. Every fine detail was intricately & carefully looked over & the end result of our deck is amazing. From the demolition of the old, to the framing & footings, to the beautiful gray decking & beautiful vinyl railing, this has been an amazing experience for our family. Joe is 100% reliable & never missed a day of work. His assistant co-worker was a young fellow who worked the complete week with Joe & never missed a beat. Never saw him once on his cell phone or taking long lunch. That's a big plus in my book!! We are beyond happy with Main Deck LLC & the our beautiful new deck. I had a 16 x 28 covered porch added to the back of the house that was designed and installed by Main Deck. The porch looks fantastic and the construction/craftsmanship was excellent. Communication and scheduling was first rate all with a very good project price. I would highly recommend Main Deck for any outdoor home additions.
