We offer you the benefit of an international architectural design center that will custom design your project to complement your home, suit your personal tastes and meet your exact needs for functionality. We invite you to call for a free design consultation. At your consultation we’ll show you past projects, discuss your needs and tastes, explain your construction material options (including the new, low-maintenance wood alternatives), talk about costs, and measure and photograph your home/lot. The design consultation is completely free and you are under no obligation to hire Archadeck. Should you decide to move forward after your free design consultation, we will custom design your building plan. You will still not be under any obligation to hire us as your builder until you approve your plan and sign your contract. Of course, once you do sign that contract, you will be protected by two separate guarantees, constituting the most expansive customer protection plan in the industry. And local oversight assures your property and privacy are respected. We attend to every detail from securing any needed building permits to final cleanup. Diversified Remodeling has completed several projects at our home and we are thrilled to have found them. Most recently, they repaired some water damage caused by faulty gutters. It involved work to the structure of the house as well as repairing some interior flooring. The situation was more serious than anticipated. The crew even worked in the rain to get the situation corrected as soon as possible. Mr. Graves and his crew live by their motto: Honesty, Quality, and Integrity.

Richard Graves and his crew were wonderful in adding a four season sun room to my home. They listened carefully to my ideas and decided how best to produce the expected result! They were able to help me think through decisions that needed to be made, and were willing to make changes as the project moved along. The sunroom is our favorite place in the house!! I expect to call on Archadeck of Charlottesville for future home improvements!

Renovation of a 40 x12 feet deck with stairs. They commenced on the day specified and finished in a timely manner. All were pleasant, interactive, respectful and responsive. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the work and the fact that they paid attention to details. Each day they left the site clean and tidy and performed some minor modifications at my request during the renovation, without problems and with good suggestions on their part. I would definitely use them again if the need arises

Archadeck of Charlottesville replaced our existing deck and expanded the deck to increase the size by 2/3. The deck comes off of the second story of the house in the back. They worked with us to find low maintenance, sustainable materials and provide a high-quality finished look. In planning the project, they were knowledgeable about the current products available, provided us with samples and were open to discussing pros and cons of our vision for the project. They ran into several unexpected issues from the previous deck's construction. They were great problem solvers. We stayed on track for costs and time. We have gotten rave comments from our neighbors on the finished product. The staff were courteous, respectful of our home, cleaned up everyday and when the project was finished. We were so pleased with their services, we have them doing a second project for us.

As a contractor myself I was very aware of the need to be concise in our plans and with the need to feel assured the company we hired understood what we expected as a finished product. We were impressed with the detailed estimate, the proposed cost, and the estimated completion timetable. Our expect ions were fully met, the completed job was everything we had dreamed it would be and a wonderful addition to our home. When it came time for our next major project we call again on this company and we were equally pleased with the end result. We have recommended this company to friends; this is something I only do when I feel confidence in the company I recommend.

We have worked with Richard of Archadeck on 2 projects. In 2012 he demolished a builder's grade deck and replaced it with a gorgeous custom 12 x 16 screen porch. The second project in December 2014 was to replace the stairs to the front porch. Richard may not be the lowest bid that you receive for your project but the workmanship is second to none. For the porch we solicited 5 bids, Richard and Archadeck was the only one that presented us with drawings and specifications that met what we requested. The construction is robust and employs joinery techniques rather then just resting beams on the top of supports. Work began in a timely manner and the crew worked for 2 weeks on the project, taking time to blend the porch roof line into the back of the house between 2 bay windows. What had been an unusable wobbly builder deck became the focus of our late afternoon and evening relaxation. Richard even screened the underside of the porch to prevent insects from entering from below. For the steps, rather then just replace the stringers, the crew built a box structure to support each step, much more robust then the original stringers. On both projects construction consisted of pressure treated wood and for the railings we selected composite material for low maintenance. In both projects the work site was kept clean and no trash (not even a stray nail) was left behind. We highly recommend this firm, he gives you what you ask for, on time, and at a fair price.

Removed old wooden deck, built new Trex deck, and a 16 by 12 screen porch using Trex materials. Also knocked out dining room exterior wall and installed two french doors. Last but not least, added a front portico also using Trex materials (front porch).
