Sean is a brilliant and passionate landscaper and gardener. He listens to what the client wants and provides excellent advice and options. His love for and commitment to native species is very clear, and we learn so much from him. Sean landscaped both our front yard including a rain garden and our back yard. We use his services annually. My favourite story about Sean is finding him in our backyard on Canada Day checking on the recent plantings he did and adding new ones. He was hoping to leave without being noticed. I have recommended Sean to good friends who are also greatly pleased with his work.

I have know Sean, and used his professional services, since the mid 80's. He first designed and created a front yard garden in the mid 80's at a brand new home and the current owners still enjoy the design and plantings. A second design including a small pond with waterfall and dry bed river was created at my next property with a very creative idea to include old tree roots that were showing on the surface. Most recently at my current home he just completed a front yard design converting a front lawn to a perennial low maintenance garden with access to a side yard. I have always found Sean's designs and advice excellent. He usually manages to include one of his newest or favourite plant finds, while remaining open to the clients ideas and wishes, all while making sure the landscaping suits the house and the growing conditions. Highly recommend his company.

I hired Sean previously to install a pond garden with a waterfall. He did a lovely job and has reliably helped to maintain the garden and pond, as needed. I also hired Sean to plant numerous trees on our property. He is very knowledgeable and we were delighted with the trees he planted. When a few died ( this happens) he replaced them as needed. This year I hired Sean to install a fountain on our big pond. This involved digging a trench from the house to the pond for the wiring as well as installing the fountain hardware and the fountain itself. (The project completion date and cost set out below is for this project). He did a beautiful job. His crew is polite and they clean up everything before they leave. Sean has a commitment to promote the planting of non-invasive, native plants, which I appreciate. I anticipate hiring him in the future for future plantings/projects on our property.
