Monello did an excellent job leveling our backyard. We always had an unusable hill and now have a huge flat portion of our yard for parties and playing with our dog. The guys that did the work were very approachable and helpful. They cleaned up everyday and were able to solve the stumbling blocks that came up. We’ve dealt with many contractors and these guys ranked very high! It was also impressive that the project managers came every day to oversee the job and were available whenever we had questions. Would highly recommend and we will definitely use them for future projects.

Monello Landscaping is a dependable, trustworthy and supportive company. Another landscaper did work on our property and instead of fixing the issue they set to fix, they created another. The previous landscaper stopped returning our calls and did not come to fix the issue. I contacted Monello Landscaping and they got us set up with a team and consult immediately. They were kind, clear with information, and effectively communicated every step in the process. They were amazing to work with and when we decide to create a backyard oasis, they would be the company we would want to make it happen.

It started as an idea and after being referred to Joe Monello and his Team, the idea has become a reality. We just completed the Design Phase and OMG the experience has been amazing. Joe recommended a virtual design of our ideas for the front yard and after a few fun meetings, the team put together an amazing 3D picture of our home and landscape design that went above & beyond what we imagined. This design phase and this team is a no-brainer for any landscaping work before doing anything else. We are overly excited and cannot wait for construction to begin. Thank you Monello Family & Team!

The whole design team was professional, creative, trustworthy, and attentive to our thoughts. They have a detailed procedure they follow in making sure nothing is overlooked. Never building a pool before and hearing horror stories had us worried. So happy to have Joe and his team taking great care of us. We didn’t want a basic design and the monello hit it out of the park. They have programs with the latest technology that brings the design to life in 3D. We had numerous meetings and they listened to all of our needs and allowed a couple of revisions making sure we were totally pleased. Our plans are complex and Joe made sure we envisioned the final design and set the infrastructure for different phases when our budget allows. Thanks for making our dream pool a reality!

Professionalism to the core best describes Monello Landscaping. We were looking for a company to design our landscaping in the front and back of the house. From the first meeting, we felt very comfortable and like part of the Monello family. Without having our business yet, they were answering questions and giving their input showing us the value of their experience.... The owner Joe definitely leads by example, being so friendly and informative himself. We were pleased with how helpful the whole staff was throughout the whole process. However Dan and Jarret were on a whole different level. We had a hard time choosing the concepts and direction we wanted to go in. Both of them were very patient, attentive, and extremely helpful in guiding us to get the project where we finally were extremely happy with. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Monello Enterprises is a professionally based company. I am a project manager for over 50 group homes in North and Central Jersey for over 17 years. Monello Enterprises Serviced our landscaping needs for all of our sites those 17 years. They were always there and on time as contracted. If there was something that could not be completed in a timely manner, I always received a call to reschedule and the rescheduling was always done as scheduled. Monello Enterprises also does site work. There was a particular job we needed done for water discharge and drainage. Upon the completion of the project, the routing of the water missed the storm sewer that was necessary to carry the water away. At their own expense, they reworked the drainage path and storm sewer to properly catch the run off. They are a class "A" company and I never had a concern about their work, it was always over the top. It is a pleasure to highly recommend them. Joe Monello and his talented and dedicated staff are truly the “best of the best”. They give each job attention to detail no matter how big or small it may be. A few years ago, they designed and built a beautiful patio in our previous home. The work was performed in time as promised and the design and craftsmanship was superb. We were interested in creating an outdoor living space that was comfortable, & functional, as well as providing an extension of our indoor home - an outdoor area that is usable at least 3 seasons of the year. Monello Landscape delivered - and then some! Their design team was very easy to work with and developed an amazing design that included a covered patio, porcelain tiles, and an outdoor fireplace - surrounded by eye-catching landscape features. The entire Monello team, including Joe Monello - from design to execution (Jarret, Dan, Dave, and Pat) were professional, accessible, on-time, and went above and beyond expectations. Hiring the right Landscape/Hardscape company can be a difficult decision. I know from experience. I also know that I will never work with anyone else but Monello Landscape Industries. We chose Monello to help us with our backyard makeover design and they were a joy to work with. They made time to meet with us multiple times, going over every little detail. We never felt rushed, even though we made tweaks and changes to the plan many times. For over a year, my wife and I debated replacing an old spa or covering it all together. We ultimately decided to cover it, and after getting a few quotes, ultimately decided to go with Monello. They came out to look at the job the day after I originally reached out. And through the pandemic, they were communicating with me, and were on time with their original timeline. The project entailed removing old roots. leveling the ground, water proofing the exterior basement walls, building a beautiful large patio and walkway, as well as designing and installing lighting and landscaping. From beginning to end it was truly a pleasure working with Joe Monello, the owner of the company, and his professional and knowledgable staff. Our project manager, Matt Cord, was always available to answer our questions and insure the job was going as planned. They are an extremely reliable and talented team. I met up with Greg at my home to redo my garden area both front and back in woods at waterview . I have to say first he was great working with and it was done pretty quick and the men he had doing the job were great cleaned up the area it looks beautiful now. Monello services my property all year round- lawn and snow. They always make sure te property looks gorgeous, well maintained, and clean. Even in the fall they decorate! Monello recently did a stellar job on my front walkway - both the design of the pavers and of the landscape design. I've also had Monello do a patio, again so different from the typical designs you see everywhere. Joe is so creative, talented and unique. He can transform anything you give him. Hired Monello Landscape LLC to landscape and hardscape my backyard pool area. Involved grading, reseeding, mulchbeds, woodchips, tree removal and installation of drainage system from gutters, driveway and around the pool. Their knowledge of the project parameters and alternatives allowed me to concentrate elsewhere. Workmanship was excellent and professional, punctual and met deadlines. Worked in the rain when possible. I would rehire them for future work and recommend them to friends and neighbors.

We were very pleased with the work of Joe Monello and Monello Landscape. We put in a fiberglass pool and paver patio with a fire pit and new rock wall. The final result was well beyond our expectations. Joe worked hand in hand with our pool installer to ensure that the project went smoothly and that the permitting was obtained in a timely manner.
