Martinson’s Garden Works is a second generation, family run business, successfully landscaping Mississippi homes for 60 years. Our goal is to understand your needs, lifestyle, and budget so we can create or recreate your outdoor living space into the retreat of your dreams. Our landscape architect Randy Graves caters to every style a homeowner could imagine for any type of outdoor renovation project. The best way for us to understand your vision is to schedule to see your space, listen to your ideas, share an initial assessment and forge a potential project. This allows us to truly see how you live and how we can bring your vision to life. We know you’re getting the best quality plants for your landscaping because we grow them! Not only do we grow the healthiest, most beautiful flowers available, we also have Mississippi’s most extensive collection of garden pottery. Our nine acre facility is open to the public and serves as the perfect design center for clients to meet with the architect onsite, walk the grounds together, and actually see the plant materials, pottery, fountains and other elements of design that could be incorporated into your new landscape. We’ll make it your home. Grown.

Design new planting areas. Plant all new plants and replace any older plants that have died. Trim all plants two or three times annually. Put new pine straw in all beds twice a year.

Martinson's grows and stocks a wide variety of plants, many that I couldn't find elsewhere. I've gotten perennials, annuals, and succulents that were all very healthy and thriving. Their selection of stoneware pots is excellent. I found the exact size, shape and color I was looking for. We used their landscaper associate who made our drainage project a beautiful addition to the yard instead of the eyesore a drainage remedy usually is.

After building a new house in 2012 we called on Landscape Architect Carter Brown of Martinson’s Garden Works to create a plan for the landscaping. He studied the area, talked with us about our preferences, and produced a very detailed sketch of the plan. Because we were older Carter planned trees and plants that would grow fast so we could enjoy them and for easy maintenance. Carter is very experienced with our climate and knows what plants will thrive here. He and his crew installed the landscaping which made the process very easy. He made sure we got good healthy plants that would add touches of color all year long. We have added more landscaping every year since. Carter is very professional and pleasant to work with and his enthusiasm for his work is contagious. We have lots of windows and thanks to Carter our yard is a real source of pleasure for us every day.

It is great working with Martinson's Garden Works. They are very dependable and easy to work with. I primarily work with Landscape Architect Carter Brown, and he has great design ideas and recommendations. The landscaping project completed by Martinson's Garden Works was beyond our expectations. They completely redid the yard, installed a sprinkler system, lighting system, and water fountain. They were very reliable to work with, and we can't say enough about Randy Graves at Martinson's Garden Works. We especially enjoy the down lighting on the fountain and the up lighting on the trees as well as the side walk lighting. Highly recommend Martinson's!

We recently had our entire yard landscaped and we love it. The neighbors say we have the prettiest yard in the whole subdivision. The design brought in a lot of color and the bushes are all beautiful when they flower. We also had some areas left to plant colorful annuals-which are so pretty. We added some nice sitting areas and a bubbling fountain, which is so soothing after a day at work. We also added a brick pathway through the front yard which leads to a bench-which is so pretty and different.

We have used Martinson's Garden Works for several years. Allen and Mimi Martinson began coming bi-annually to design and plant the numerous pots we have surrounding our pool, transforming the area into a beautiful oasis. Both Allen and Mimi have a real talent for creating beautiful container gardens. Latterly we contracted Randy Graves to completely redesign the back yard area. We are thrilled with his design plan and the timely and excellent execution of that plan. We are continuing to work with Randy on a redesign of the front yard and an enclosed vegetable garden. They have just completed the third large scale project for us and we are very satisfied with the results. Clinton spends time getting to know your desires and what you envision for your landscape prior to drawing the plan. He is on-site during the installation phase to be sure that the work meets your needs.
