MahoStudios is, a company designed around the idea and promotion of an integrated approach to art and design not limited to wall hangings, or the utilitarian things we use in daily life. Our conscious conservation efforts lead us to the re-valuing of materials and objects that normally would be discarded. We find it a fun challenge to repurpose pre-used materials into useful objects of value. We believe that the simple things are the most precious, but sometimes requiring a degree of effort to identify its essential value in our routine living. It is our goal to do our very best in making art in design an essential component in the work we do for our customers.

Maho was professional and knowledgeable. He designed the project and presented it with a passion not only for the aesthetics but also with great care and concern for the environment. The project was a great addition to my back yard space and created a friendly and interactive space for my family and friends. I was very please and appreciative upon the completion.

One word: WOW. I hired Maho to do a home project @ my home in Winter Park. He put his heart and soul into his work. He took my vision and created something spectacular. So excited for the next project we are talking about. Up next : A living vertical Succulent wall. Boom.

It's alway a challenge when a customer says to you, I don't want to hear the words - it cant be done. This is Deb's mantra, "Don't tell me it can't be done". Well! if that is not a personal development challenge, then nothing is.

It was a great learning experience on many levels working for Deb, as it certainly erased some of the more commonly held assumptions about things in my company service delivery, and maybe individually about ourselves. I'm very blessed to have such wonderful customers like Deb and others like her who constantly reminds me that life is more than mere things and is also about relationships with others, regardless of who they are.

Maho Studios was hired to create a potting table for our backyard. The challenge was the small space of a NYC backyard that already had a shed and planting beds in the space and we only had a 3'x3' space which doubled as a walkway. The results exceeded our expectations. Maho Studios designed and created a fold away table with legs that dropped down when in use, and other times fold up against the wall. A shallow cabinet was also incorporated above to store gloves, trowels and other items. The creativity and professionalism the company exhibited on this project gave me the confidence to hire them on other projects through the years. The project came in on budget and on time. We couldn't have been more pleased.

After speaking with a couple companies regarding my vision for my front yard, I decided to go with Maho. Michael HoShing saw my vision immediately, and he took the time to elaborate on my thoughts, while giving me a few ideas that were popping into his head. My peaceful garden turned out perfectly! I wanted a space that reflects my energy and Maho’s organic approach and professionalism gave me exactly what I envisioned!

Great project! This is a very large deck which was the most appropriate solution in providing well needed extension to the interior spaces. The outdoor shower made all this works exceptionally well creating a complete living environment in the outdoors. Banks was an exceptional customer from which I learned quite a lot about other things besides what he hired me to do, landscaping. Having a good client relationship makes work seems much like play, one of the great joys and benefit of this work.
