Garden Makeover Company

We hired Garden Makeover Company to give us suggestions for what to do with our backyard, that was an old playground with nothing but wood chips. That was over 5 years ago and we've worked together ever since. The owner, Connie Bowers, is creative, talented, accommodating to personal taste and a hard worker. I think the company rates are reasonable. We are very happy with our beautiful backyard and since our initial plan and garden installation we have turned to Garden Makeover Company whenever we want to put in a tree, need a new garden laid out or need help with garden maintenance. They are a great team!

Connie at Garden Makeover MD provides excellent advice on all things related to gardens. If you want to do the work yourself, she will tell you how to do it. If you want to have the work done for you, she will bring a crew and get the job done efficiently and expertly.

For many years I have used the services of the Garden Makeover Company. During that time, we have transformed my 1/4 acre yard into a beautiful spot for both quiet respite and entertaining. Connie, the owner, and I met annually to design a landscape plan for a different area, and over time we have landscaped the entire yard. I have quite a few tall, mature trees, creating a shady environment in the back. Connie helped select plants that would thrive in high or partial shade. Last year we decided to convert an awkward patch of grass by the sunny front walk area into a welcoming garden. It has created lovely "curb appeal" in our front yard. Connie has served as designer, as well as gardening coach. She and her staff have done clean up, soil preparation, seasonal maintenance, and planting. Connie is a down-to-earth dedicated professional. While she has hard-working staff, she is very hands-on, and has always been actively involved in every project. I highly recommend her company.
