Emma Whitten Garden Design & Implementation

Emma and her team are an absolute joy to work with. We have a small garden in Nunhead and for years had struggled with it. We wanted something simple, manageable but also stylish. The moment Emma walked in she had a clear vision for it and translated that into a beautiful design. Her landscaping team - including the wonderful Abby - were superb. I can’t tell you how at ease they put you, how hard working they are, with a massive eye for detail. Always keeping us updated on progress and time scale, consulting us on the build, and just generally being lovely people to have around the house. We are going to miss them! Collectively they all have years of experience on the design and landscaping front and I couldn’t recommend them more. We are delighted with the end result.

I approached Emma to place mature trees in our London garden to provide a raised screen for greater privacy. The team had great attention to detail, making sure the trees were positioned as carefully as I would have done myself. The trees were neatly secured and are growing well.

We engaged Emma to help us overhaul the planting in our garden (as part of a wider re-vamp of the space). She took soil samples, made site visits to track sun/shade and considered the space restraints. Following our initial consultations, she provided us with comprehensive designs suggesting plants that would flourish in the space, discussed our preferences with us, and arranged for those designs to be implemented. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendy and helpful throughout the planning, planting and finishing touches. We couldn't be happier with the result - and would recommend Emma without hesitation.
