If you are looking for a company to remodel your space, Desert Crest will not disappoint. This amazing company went above and beyond on my backyard remodel project this summer! They completely transformed my yard by adding a covered outdoor kitchen and fireplace, travertine hardscape, lighting, new irrigation system, and beautiful turf and plants! I started with the Desert Crest Design team, Chuck and Chris, who met with me virtually to listen to my ideas and design my backyard. I truly appreciated these meetings since we were able to make revisions and view the changes instantly in their design program. Once the work began everything was organized and went extremely smoothly. The Desert Crest crew was very professional, hardworking, and always punctual. Desert Crest has done all of my hard scape work & landscaping including irrigation lighting. They built walls & did my pergola. They do pools as well & basically design outdoor spaces. I love that they put together a plan for me that I can do in stages & gives me honest advice- for example buy travertine even though it costs more upfront there is zero maintenance. Pergola vs wood & use the best manufacturer that never has issues. He was recommended to me from a friend & I'm really happy with their work. I’ll use them for any outdoor projects because they do great work & I can trust them. Pricing was reasonable- not the cheapest, but I also value quality that isn’t going to cause me issues later. They also do a 3d design. It is a helpful visual!

I can not recommend the team at Desert Crest enough! From the initial design consultation to the execution, everyone involved was timely, professional, efficient and transparent. The design recommendation far surpassed what I could ever envision for our property and their software is great. We had a consultation to review the design that made me feel like a client in an HGTV makeover show. Their proposal and pricing is so detailed that you know exactly what you're getting and for what price and while we needed to adjust a bit (due to unforeseen circumstances) they were fair to credit us where needed and even when above and beyond in the execution (of some of the project) without nickel and diming us for the extra work. I wish I could include before and after pictures because the transformation of our backyard is amazing- our project included hardscape, a custom firepit, irrigation, planting and sod and not only are these guys quick, the quality of their work is grade A. We are so pleased with our project and this team, we're already planning the next so if you are planning yours, look no further... Jesse and his team are the best.

We used Desert Crest to transform a portion our backyard into an outdoor living room and barbecue area. The overall experience was first class, from the initial phases in working with Chuck on the design to working with Jesse and his crew on the construction. They were very professional, were accommodating to the changes we made during the process, and completed the project on time. The Project: 2,500 square feet of travertine paver, custom fire pit, custom aluminum pergola, water feature, stone facing of existing BBQ island. Our background: I worked in residential construction from laborer to finish carpenter. 40 years in hospital work including serving as the Owner's Rep on construction projects. My wife and I have had three houses built and two extensively renovated. I would describe myself as having high expectations. Outcome: Excellent quality. On time. Less than 2% variance in cost due to issues that came up during the project (issues nearly always occur during renovation projects). All issues/questions resolved quickly and fairly to our mutual satisfaction. The project was completed on time. The Rating: We rate Desert Crest and Jesse Inzunza as a 10 on a 1-10 scale.

From start to finish, I was very pleased with the way our project turned out. We are in a brand new build and had an empty dirt back yard to start with. First, Charles took a little drawing I made of my vision, and turned it into exactly what I wanted, except better than I could've imagined. Then, Jesse and his team came out and created that vision for us. They were prompt every morning of the project and worked diligently through the week to finish the project. I can't say enough about this company; very professional and accommodating. I had a few changes I wanted made toward the end of the project and Jesse had no problem ensuring it was taken care of to our liking. Very pleased.

This is an outstanding company. I can't say enough good things about the entire experience. We had a built-in BBQ and extended counter/bar area built, travertine patio and walkway, fire pit and lighting along the walkway and uplights on plants. We had power and gas lines installed (they handled all of the permitting) and our irrigation system was completely redone. Our backyard originally had nothing in it and we needed help coming up with a design. Chuck did an excellent job of creating the design and then working with us to get us what we wanted within our budget. He was honest about telling us what would and wouldn't work. Very appreciative of his advice. They were able to start the project about a week early, and we were fine with that. Once started, they kept on their timeline and finished on time. The crew was fantastic. They are very hard workers and you could tell that they had certain goals to meet each day, and did. The owner, Jesse, was on site to check in almost every day. The crew arrived on time and cleaned up each day. Jesse also stayed in good communication with us throughout the project so we always knew what was going on. He explained how to program our irrigation and lighting systems. So very happy we chose them and will use them again if we decide to do more.

Jesse and his team were great. They showed on time every day and worked pretty much throug the day. They got their work done very fast and everything looked great. Jesse is very easy to work with. And Chuck, he’s great too! We had them do our pool’s coping, paving and the rest of the landscaping. Great communicators and they were more than willing to work with you in every step of the way!

Desert Crest, LLC was absolutely FABULOUS! Highly Highly recommend!!! I can't thank Jesse, Chuck and the Desert Crest Crew enough!!! They started every morning at 7:00 am & worked to 4 every day. They completed the job 4 days early & it looks amazing!!! I had interviewed a total of 4 different company's to redo my backyard. From removing large fruit trees, a damaged brick wall, redoing my BBQ set up, completely redoing my very old irrigation system (front & back), replacing rock, laying travertine over damaged cool deck, new led lights, adding a fountain, some synthetic grass, etc.. Jesse even helped me pick out new plants and trees. Communication was great - never had an issue!!!! Fantastic company!!!

Our backyard, which resembled a lunar landscape, is now a very pretty desert garden thanks to Desert Crest. The process began when we met with Chuck, the landscape designer, who is familiar with the plants that do well in our area. His design included a computer generated picture of what the completed garden would look like. The plants arrived on a Monday afternoon and Danny and his crew began work early the next morning (as scheduled) and the job, including drip irrigation, was completed the following day. Jesse, the owner of Desert Crest, was involved from start to finish; our residential lot in a subdivision received as much attention as if we were a mansion in the priciest part of town. We're completely satisfied and very happy with Desert Crest. We recommend them without reservation or hesitation.

The designer Chuck listened to my ideas/requests/needs and added his ideas to come up with the perfect layout for our house. The owner and designer were on-site day one to walk through the plans. DC came up with ideas I hadn’t thought of that really added more appeal to the landscaping. Jesse was recommended to us and thus far are more than satisfied. His crew showed up daily on time and wasted no time getting to their scheduled work. The estimated time of completion was accurate and without any surprises. We received updated estimates reflecting added costs that we had requested but never a formal contract to sign with scheduled payment amounts and dates despite being told we would, We did receive a formal statement showing we had paid his bill in full. Jesse produced all the drawings and renderings required for submittal to our HOA for construction approval. His suggestions for materials lead to savings in both time and money. While the work during the project is very important post project issues will occasionally arise and this is where the it is equally important to respond to the client and Desert Crest has been exceptional in responding to any issues that have arisen since completion. Jesse &and his crew at Desert Crest took a large empty, back yard and made it into the perfect gathering place for our family & friends. A block wall which separated the pool from the project area was removed. They added a bocce court, large putting green, Ramada with gas fire pit. Equally important was Jesse's knowledge of trees & plant material. I appreciated that they didn't over plant, allowing the new shrubs and trees to grow and develop. Not only is that good for plants and trees, but my budget. More plants will be added in the future. All my questions were answered & addressed. I could not be more happy with the end product that was left when Jesse and his crew were done with our job. I searched for a year looking for a contractor who was licensed to do the project we wanted done. Many said they were but upon checking with the AZROC that was not the case. Desert Crest is a licensed general contractor and landscape company. They did the most amazing job from a sketch that we provided to them. We wanted a brick oven pizza and bbq. We already had the bbq and we had slabs of leftover granite that we wanted incorporated into our project. Jesse and his crew were on time, courteous, attentive to detail, available immediately by phone and on the job regularly until the job was complete. Jesse even found some granite tiles that matched our slab to do some finish work that we had not thought of. We will be having Desert Crest come back to our home when we are ready to do another project. Highly recommend this company.

I am a difficult customer to please, but Desert Crest succeeded with my courtyard. In addition, the crew left my yard in better condition than when they started. I worked with Jesse and his team of professionals to create a backyard grilling area and extend my back patio. I was very impressed with the overalll job and added additional work to my front porch and garage walkway to enhance the project. I hired Desert Crest to build a custom stacked gas and wood burning fireplace and pizza oven combo in my backyard. I had very specific requirements, such as a 4"x16" CMU veneer and hard-to-find concrete pool coping used on my existing custom spa surround. Jesse and his crew were able to match this perfectly and as a result, my backyard looks beautiful with the pizza oven/fireplace as it's centerpiece. The Desert Crest crew is very professional. Jessie Inzunza and his crews at Desert Crest LLC provided excellent work for our projects. First they did stucco patch around all of our windows which we had replaced by another company. Then they built a large courtyard with concrete block/stucco walls and installed pavers to match our driveway. A perfect match. Then the DC LLC painting crew did an excellent job repainting our home, guest house and perimeter walls. Our courtyard was then filled with plants with irrigation. Overall a beautiful job at a reasonable cost. Jessie's crews were always on time over the month long project and his communication with us was great. Always kept in touch and returned our calls promptly. We give Desert Crest FIVE STARS!

I had a few people bid my front yard redesign project. Jesse was flexible with his quote and was able to get me the best deal. The day he came out, he took care of everything and went above and beyond what I asked him to do. He trimmed some of our front trees, replaced my broken existing drip irrigation and bought a few extra plants/boulders to make the design better. Our yard looks amazing. Very impressed with the quality of his work! Would highly recommend.

Desert Crest was hired to install a patio and landscaping in my backyard. Jesse drew up specific plans and details to give me a good idea of what the finished product would look. like. Starting date was set and the crew began the project. It took about 2 weeks with hauling off dirt, leveling and setting the pavers and planting the trees and plants. The crew knew exactly what needed to be done and went about doing it. They were working in the heat of the AZ summer. They arrived each morning at 6 and left at 2. The area was cleaned daily. Materials and supplies were delivered as needed. The crew and Jesse worked like clockwork---on time, within budget and I received a beautiful patio and back yard. I definitely would hire them in the future.

I am always amazed at the level of creativity and originality Jesse puts into each of his projects. As a retired award winning landscape designer and contractor, I know all to well that the majority of landscapers use the same concepts and plants repeatedly because it is fast and easy. They also can't maintain 5-star ratings consistently, but Desert Crest has for years. There are a lot of different reasons I highly recommend hiring this company to do your landscaping. Phoenix and Scottsdale landscaping can be a hassle. From finding a landscape designer who 'gets it' to delayed completion due to waiting on subcontractors with various specialties needed to finish the job.
