The door is beautiful and the door installation was great. Unfortunately we had not settled on a handle at the time of the install. John recommended one we could order on Amazon and we did that, taking delivery of the handle 3 days after the door was installed. Although John promised that he would return to install the handle, all communications with You're Unique have gone without a reply. We submitted new contact requests via their website and called Traci using the phone number we found on houzz. It has been months and there has been no response.

I had barn doors completed for a basement project. We came up with a custom design. We had the doors done in walnut, and the finish on the doors are spectacular. The craftsmanship of the doors are unbelievable. John came out to install the doors and did a great job. I was very happy with the process. It does take some time to get the doors, since they are custom made, but it was well worth the wait! I wish I could do more of them in the house, they are so beautiful. I would definitely recommend You're Unique to every one that is looking to do custom barn doors.

After spending about a week with my new Freeman coffee table, I can say that I am extremely happy with the finished product and overly impressed with John’s craftsmanship. The design, build, and finish of the table is exceptional and I could not be more satisfied. In fact, I’d argue that this coffee table is as well built and finished as others four times the price. I was initially drawn to You’re Unique by the prospect of purchasing a locally built coffee table at an affordable price. I was able to select the dimensions, wood, stain, hardware, and add two additional drawers to the back side. The entire process took about 6 weeks from placing my order to receiving the finished product. You’re Unique far exceeded my expectations and ultimately delivered a coffee table that I now expect to keep with me for the rest of my life.

I came across them via Etsy - I sent them a picture of a coffee table that I liked and even though they had not made it before, they made a wonderful piece.The customer service was fantastic as well. Great experience and not only would I use them again, I would recommend them highly to anyone. I seldom write reviews (good or bad) but they deserve one. Fabulous team!

Do not recommend. We contracted You're Unique for a barn door. They had to make three trips and even then door they left is of poor quality and too large for the opening. Worse, Traci, the owner has tried every way possible to start a smear campaign rather than refund what we have paid thus far. Please contact me for examples of their poor workmanship and follow up support. Again, I would not recommend these folks for any work whatsoever.

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee; if you're not happy with our product, simply return it for a full refund. Ayaz, we’re very sorry that you’re unhappy with our product and services. You and your wife have left us many negative reviews across several sites, complaining about the custom barn door that you ordered but you’ve refused to return it for a refund, even when we offered to drive five hours round trip to Spartanburg to pick it up to save you the expense of returning it. You even filed a chargeback with your credit card company in an effort get a refund and keep the door without having to return it. Please understand it is not our fault that your credit card company denied your claim; we responded to your claim honestly when they asked if the product had been returned and it had not been. Actually, we’re very confused as to why you would want to keep this door that is of such poor quality and too large for the opening to begin with. Regardless, we did credit your account for the installation fee since you where unhappy with our installation. However since your home was not ready for the install the first trip that we made out, we will not be able to credit the already deeply discounted delivery fee. We strive to offer the best products and installation services that we can so it helps to know when we fall short of that. It inspires us to work so much harder for our clients! Please contact us as soon as possible regarding the balance due for the door if you do not plan on returning it. Thank you! Traci & John

Traci was great to work with! Very patient. I had lots of ideas that had to be narrowed down to one. She was very helpful in helping me to decide. I purchased a custom bookcase, Headboard and Farm Table. All came out just as I envisioned and even greater. They did a great job with craftsmanship I actually hate that I moved to Texas as I'm sure I'll want more items moving forward. Hopefully I will move back moving forward and Traci will be on my top ten call list to help me design and bring to life the new piece I envision for my next home. Very happy with my decision to purchase from here!
