Our journey with Furniture Finesse started in the spring of 2022. The journey has been and still is wonderful. As we near the completion of outfitting our new custom built home, Susie and the staff has been so kind and patient as we start and stop, changed our minds and wonder what to do out loud. They adapted to our budget, and offered products that fit within what we were willing to pay. They supported for our choices, and offered good design points to consider. Without a doubt Furniture Finesse has a wide range of products and options. We purchase a beautiful iron bed, a custom couch and chair. The options of companies and fabric to choose from is great. I have to admit the Hunter Douglas blinds were not in our price point conform zone, but Susie lovingly convince us of the value and the long term benefits of our investment with Hunter Douglas products. Since June of 2020 we have been working on projects with Furniture Finesse for our living room, sunroom and kitchen. For the living room we purchased Luminette Privacy Sheers with remote control, an area rug and a TV console. We then had a new kitchen floor installed. During 2022 we ordered and received replacement cushions for our sunroom sofa, chair and ottoman. We are anxiously awaiting delivery of a dinette table and 4 chairs also for the sunroom. We have consulted with Susie, Mike and Rebecca in the store, in our home and on the phone. They have been very helpful, kind and patient with us. Rebecca’s design and decorating recommendations have been so appreciated. We love this store!!

Recently, our Hunter Douglas motorized shade in our large bay window in the bathroom stopped working. We purchased this shade and other non-motorized shades for our other windows in February 2019 at JC Penney in Hanover, PA. That store has since closed. The sales rep that we purchased the shades from is no longer employed there and all of the phone numbers we had were obsolete. I went on-line and found Furniture Finesse in York, PA and saw that they sold Hunter Douglas shades. I called there and the owner, Susie, walked me through trying to manually operate the shade but it did not work. She suggested I come in and get a replacement battery pack. Upon arrival, she tested my battery pack and confirmed it no longer worked. She gave me a replacement free of charge although it still did not operate the shade. She told me to bring the shade in as it probably needed a new motor. When I got there, she contacted the manufacturer and determined that my shade was still under warranty. She processed paperwork to return the shade to the manufacturer for repair. We still don't have it back yet, but Susie went above and beyond the normal standards for customer service. She is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. We very much enjoy doing business with her and are very impressed with her store.

Even though they were more expensive than shops within a 30 mile radius, I do prefer to buy local. They did promise the best delivery date by a month or two and that is what I got so I am very happy about that. They were also willing to negotiate on the warranty so I got one comparable to warranties other shops are offering. Therefore always a good idea to get several estimates. Furniture Finesse has very friendly staff and the installation went flawlessly. I do highly recommend.

We were experiencing difficulty with remote control Hunter Douglas blinds we have had for a number of years. We reached out to Furniture Finesse and their repair/installation person worked for quite a while to get our old blinds working again. When that was deemed impossible we ordered replacement blinds. The store kept us informed when there was a shipping delay and quickly scheduled installation when the blinds arrived. We like the new blinds and the newer, easier to use remote control. Furniture Finesse is easy to work with and very helpful. We will be using them in the future when we need to replace furniture.

A power reclining couch & love seat. I cannot make a comment on the furniture as of yet because we have not received it yet. However, Rebecca was very knowledgeable about the furniture and was quite helpful getting our questions answered. However, I feel very uncomfortable purchasing the furniture without seeing it or sitting on it.

We went in originally to get some Hunter Douglas blinds. No one else York even carries these blinds which are the Cadillac of blinds in my opinion. Maybe the Honda or Toyota of blinds is a better description. They are great, whatever you compare them to. While we were there we took a look around the store and they had a gorgeous live edge table which we also got. Much better furniture than you'll find at a place like Ashley Furniture.

Even though we were not customers, when I called Furniture Finesse Susie walked me through the process of getting the broken Hunter Douglas shade down and getting it to her to send back to the factory for repair. When I had trouble getting the shade down she volunteered to come by our house after work and help. Together we got it down and she took it back to work and shipped it to the factory. Suzie, Ashley, and Steve are an incredible team of design professionals at Furniture Finesse in York, PA. Ashley came to my charming Craftsman Cottage house and gave the room a look, took measurements, brought color samples, and then one week later, she had pictures for examples of furniture and ideas toward updating our living room. Ashley's design partner, Steve, was in and out of the house in just one week. He repainted the dining room/living room; removed the generic ready made chair rail and designed, built and installed new chair rail in the dining room that more closely matched the Arts & Crafts style of our home; white washed the brick fireplace and installed wood (like shiplap) above our fire place. He brought his electrician to install the LED lighting above the fireplace (another smart update). He repainted the charming leaded glass windows on both sides of fireplace. Steve's attention to detail is impecable. All aspects of costs were discussed up front and maintained. Ashley even brought a few design pieces from the showroom for us to try in our home before purchase. All calls were immediately returned. Top Notch, personal, and professional!

I purchased two new Hunter Douglas blinds and Hunter Douglas refurbished the blinds that have been hanging in my living room since 2005. The new blinds look perfect and the refurbished blinds look good enough to last another 15 years. I am a very satisfied customer!

We were looking for window coverings for our sun porch. A friend recommended we look into Hunter Douglas. That's when we found Furniture Finesse. This store is a diamond in the ruff! We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful store and the friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by a friendly face. Susie listened to our needs and guided us in our choices. The large Hunter Douglas display was also helpful in our decision. Susie is a professional. She is well educated in the Hunter Douglas line. She was patient and never pushed us to make a decision. After a few weeks the beautiful blinds were installed. The installer was a wonderful professional gentleman.We were thrilled! The next day we returned to Furniture Finesse and ordered a window covering for the sliding door leading out to the porch!

This was my first time buying from Furniture Finesse and I'm so glad I did. For over 15 years I drove by their store and always admired the displays in the windows. Finally stopped in and purchased a desk custom made to the finish I wanted as well as a buffet/server for my dining room. They are absolutely beautiful pieces of furniture. These were items I was looking for certain sizes and finishes so I actually ordered from a catalog. I was concerned about buying before I even saw it, but everyone was so helpful and knew exactly what I was looking for so I trusted them. They have absolutely beautiful furniture, lights and so much more, it's fun just browsing. The entire staff is great and delivery is handled very professionally with the utmost care and consideration. I'll definitely be back for some custom drapes and blinds. I have already recommended them to friends and neighbors who want quality furniture.

Furniture finesse is a gem! They have upscale furnishings and all Hunter Douglas window coverings to chose from. When our items came in, quite quickly as a matter of fact, they scheduled a quick install for us. I wasn’t even in town!! They’re honest, hardworking and fair. I definitely will use them again!! I have used them again and they are incredible professionals to work with!!

I could not have been more please with the staff from the choosing of the blinds to the installations. Staff very knowledgeable, helpful, and any adjustments that had to be made were made quickly and efficiently. Every attempt was made to make sure I was satisfied.

My goal was to add more Hunter Douglas plantation shutters to the beautiful shutters that were made for our Living Room and Master Bedroom a year or two ago. My concern was where I wanted to put the new shutters (office and powder room) didn’t need to be wood. Sure enough Susie had the solution. They look like the more expensive ones but choosing the new material helped save some money! And they are beautiful! Also, I wanted a piece of artwork to use as a focal point in my office, and I found it at Furniture Finesse. Next step was to choose a paint color that would blend with the new artwork. She listened, she recommended just what I wanted, I bought , she installed the blinds and delivered the outdoor furniture on time.. I'm unsure about the window treatment year and cost so I noted the outdoor furniture info. Her store holds so many possibilities that when I need something again I would be foolish to not go see Susie....or invite her to my home.
