Beware: Unprofessional and held a deposit for 2.5 months without placing an order. Ultimately he canceled order 5 months later upon completion keeping the desk that was ordered for himself. Production was quoted as 16 weeks and was delayed due to vendor not paying deposit and balance to the manufacturer as confirmed to me by the manufacturer when I called them.

Unfortunately, I cannot attest to great customer service. I received a damaged piece and after 3 follow-up emails over several weeks, I realized Stephen had absolutely no intentions to respond. I learned my lesson, this was the first time I dealt with a high end furniture company where you cannot pay with credit card but must pay in cash (via bank transfer). Certainly, if you are not satisfied or in my situation, receive a damaged piece, you have no recourse by contacting the credit card company and getting a credit until the situation is resolved. Sadly, in my opinion, this is the intention behind cash payments. Something goes wrong and you are out of a lot of money and Stephen takes no responsibility but ignores you. My conclusion: BEWARE of doing business with this company.

I'm a long-time studio apartment dweller, with No Space for anything but the basics. But I've been visiting DESIGNLUSH for years, and always come away inspired to think-and-act more deeply to create a Real Home. The objects I see there are exquisite in themselves, and their display together never fails to inspire important improvements in my space. I recommend a visit to anyone seeking that Real Home.

I have worked with this design firm on a few occasions but most recently on my children's bedrooms. I found Stephen to be engaging and helpful.
