PROFESSIONAL INTERIOR DESIGN & RENOVATION CONSULTING SERVICES I am an approachable, relatable, "real person" type of designer. I'm quite empathic, and I have a naturally-intuitive and comprehensive approach to design and creative problem-solving. (A client recently said, "No one sees the world around them quite like you do, Pam.") I prepare my clients for every step of the design process: let them know what to expect, when decisions need to be made, what's next, etc. I explain how I work with clients, and I also reassure them that I will give them what they ask me for. I think - many times - people are hesitant to work with a professional designer because they fear that their taste will be judged and the designer puts his/her taste into the home. Nothing could be farther from the truth. As a designer, my job is to understand your concept, stand in your shoes, use my talent and expertise and then help "elevate" what you want so it surpasses what you would've done on your own. (Make sense?) For those with NO ideas, (or too many), I help them learn how to listen to the NON-VERBAL and non-analytical part of their brains. That's where creativity lives. If you can tune out your left brain even for a few seconds, the decisions you'll be making for your home will be well-founded and not fear-based.

I’m sorry you feel that way, Diana. As I explained to you during your initial on-site consultation, everything in a designed room has a job, and the job may not involve being something you like, in and of itself. Rooms are seen, interpreted, and experienced as a WHOLE, and that is how I design them. (They are greater than the sum of their parts).

I designed your space and specified all furnishings, and you made a purchase which you then cancelled. Not only did I re-specify the furnishings and NOT charge you additional fees, but I put you in touch with a second designer for assistance in a local showroom. At that, you took it upon yourself to purchase whatever you wanted without regard for my input, direction, or the other designer’s assistance.

That is why I terminated my professional relationship with you in writing.

My family had the pleasure to work with Pam this fall. She was truly a gift from God. We had custom furniture that was destroyed in a fire and were trying to find a designer who could help us update and replace things. We were really struggling and then came PAM. She was able to listen to our ideas and how we live and pull together fabrics and furniture styles that we never would have come up with on our own. As a very particular person, details are everything and Pam makes the big and small things work beautifully together. We are still working with Pam on drapes and plan to redo the dining room later this year. We couldn`t be happier with things and are looking forward to doing more projects with our new fantastic designer!!!

She created an elegant space for us while keeping within the confines of our budget. We have received many glowing reviews from our friends, such as the room looks like one you would see in a significant design publication, to it seems like a room in the Ritz Carlton. Working with Pam was an absolutely wonderful experience. Especially since I had no idea what I wanted when I went into the store. She gave me so many choices, tips and advice on decorating which has made my whole living room come together. I also really liked when things started to add up over my budget, that she easily made changes to keep within my budget, and did it without me having to give up what I wanted. Pam even came to my home to measure my room so we were 100% sure that everything I ordered would fit in my space. We will be buying from Pam again when it's time to do our next room.

It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Pam! Pam visited our townhouse in Society Hill and designed a fabulous proposal for our living room and family room. She listened to my ideas, wants, and budget and created the most awesome design for the rooms! We love the furniture - the soft grays, cream, and navy fabrics have beautiful textures. The wool area rugs bring the room together! Pam also followed up with me on the day the furniture was delivered to make sure we were completely happy with the entire project! We highly recommend Pam! She made the entire redecorating process super easy and exciting!

By asking a lot of questions, Pam was able to focus in on our preferred style, and design a beautiful living and sunroom that perfectly reflect our contemporary taste. She created a gorgeous color scheme and incorporated different textures that bring the rooms to life. The results are beyond our imagination, and we couldn't be happier! I had just built a new home in an adult community and needed new furniture for almost every room. Pam came out to the model home to get a feel for the house and provide suggestions. I was overwhelmed by everything going on but she helped me take it one step at a time. Pam is very creative and was constantly coming up with practical solutions. For example I had bought a 10 X 12 rug for the Gathering room but i didn't like the way it looked in the room. Pam make a simple suggestion on placement of the rug and now it looks perfect. I am not finished yet and will continue to consult Pam for furniture, paint, window treatments and accessory suggestions.

I loved Pam from the second I met her on the floor at Ethan Allen! She has an excellent eye for design and style and takes the time to listen so that you can get to your goals. She was wonderfully accommodating and took the time to come to my home quickly so that she could get a sense of my needs. I worked with Pam for 6 weeks as I planned by new environment. During this period......with no guarantee that I would purchase, mind you, Pam spend hours preparing vignettes for my review. Additionally, she met me at my home-to-be and measured rooms and proceeded to space plan. Never pressured, I felt comfortable voicing my preferences. I view my experience this with Ewan as Phase 1 !

She is a true artist and can out colors and fabrics together while a layout that is contemporary with taking you out of your comfort zone.
