We design and make designer Cushions / Pillows, Quilts, Throws and bed sashes. At Bandhini we embrace the simplicity of Eastern ways and have strived to keep our product handcrafted – without the use of heavy petrol based machinery. Where at all possible we use natural fibres that are handwoven and use natural vat dyes that are easy on the environment. We strive to produce products that return gently to the earth. Our office reuses before recycling and has its own enviro-cycle and water systems. We have long been inspired by ancient cultures and their simple values – nature is our colour palette and the elements our texture. It is such an incredible blessing to do something you love. In these tough times, to be happy in your work is very important. We have been very lucky to partner with a fantastic team in India for nearly two decades; Sweety the saintly talent and Mithoo, the mover of mountains whom I love dearly and I consider to be family.
