We needed bookcases approximately 7' tall. We purchased the Lateral Three-Piece File Cabinet with reasonably standard modifications to exactly fit our requirements. Specifically, we purchased two stand alone sections with closed bookshelf base and open shelf tops. A third base was ordered cut down to fit under our window sill. Reasons we purchased these products and are thrilled with them include: 1. Materials are solid high quality wood. 2. The styling is excellent. 3. Craftsmanship is of highest quality. 4. Construction & joinery techniques are such that these will last a lifetime. 5. Finish is very smooth and uniform. 6. Amish Original was a very nice find. Unique in that almost all the staff were nice, knowledgeable, and very patient. They have a large showroom with two floors of furniture. Desks, dining room, living room and more are on display with a number of stains and wood to choose from. Of special interest is their ability to make little tweaks in the measurements of your furniture for your needs. I've been to many furniture stores and Amish Original was a nice find.

AO does a wonderful job of sourcing a wide variety of furniture and home decorations that suit many styles -- from contemporary to transitional to traditional. They also ensure good product quality, and seem to pick furniture builders that don't scrimp in construction details, all at a price that is affordable. We have purchased a number of pieces of furniture from AO over the years and all have stood the test of time.

I decided to turn my office into a combination reading/media/office room. I asked my friends at Amish Originals if they would help. The owner, Doug Winbigler, came out with a designer to find out my thoughts and to help me get the right pieces in the right places. In all, I had 9 pieces made, and now my room is fantastic. I am in it all the time and look forward to it. The multi functionality of it is unmatched. The furniture looks great, everything works well, and the price was amazingly affordable.

The employees are helpful and very knowledgeable about the products. The furniture quality is excellent! Almost all the furniture in my home is from Amish Originals. I recommend the company to friends and family.

I had purchased a piece of furniture a number of years ago for the bedroom and wanted to order a nightstand to go with the dresser. I had no idea the type of wood or stain. I was not even sure what year I purchased the first piece. They took the time to go back through their records and were able to gather this information. To my surprise it had been much longer than I expected. My dresser still looks like new. Also the style of the handles had changed. I took one of the drawers in so they could determine what handle was used so they were able to match them up. Everyone at Amish originals was very nice to work with and provided excellent service. The piece was ordered and received earlier than the time frame they promised. I was very happy with their service. I am not 100% sure of the date that I actually ordered the nightstand but I think it was about 2 years ago.

Amish Originals Furniture is stylish, attractive, and of high quality. The furniture includes contemporary as well as more traditional styles. The store always has interesting displays that include accessories, lamps, and wall art. We ordered a queen sized bedroom set (bed, dresser, chest of drawers, two bedside tables, mattress and boxsprings) from Amish Originals. The quality and workmanship of the furniture is exceptional. It is solid and well crafted and will be an heirloom in our family. The mattress and boxspring are well-made and comfortable and the quality matches any name brand set we have bought in the past. The service we received from the both the salespeople in the store as well as the delivery people who were very careful with moving in the furniture and setting it up in our bedroom was very good. We are very pleased with our purchase and highly recommend this business.
