A+E Building Systems is a knowledgeable provider of high quality components for energy efficient building. Their team of reps know their building science, and many have taken Passive House USA certification courses. This puts them in a position to weigh in on appropriate components no matter the strategy or application. They work with architects, builders, and homeowners, and have dealt with everything from modest energy retrofits to Passive Houses. I have worked with them to provide air sealing and fenestration products for two superinsulated homes recently completed in the harsh climate of the high rockies.

Anyone reading this... During construction of this home, Brad heated it with two small space heaters after the fundamental shell was completed - including insulation and air sealing. The house stayed comfortable with minimal heating. So while we were part of the solution with products that helped him achieve his goal, Brad did a fantastic job on the details that are so important on projects like this.

We are delighted to work with people like Brad who achieve extraordinary results. Our products are great and even better with people that install well. We do our best to help educate our clients to make that happen.

A&E Building Systems is the greatest Colorado supply for the-highest standard, European Passive House certified building materials. A&E instantly supplied me with needed SIGA rolls of tape, House Wraps and PH Certified windows for the past year. They always had stock in inventory ready to go. I could not have upgraded 1981 SERI (NREL) project house to target PH standards without the materials from A&E Building Systems. Thank you very much to Todd Collins and Mark Attard. In the past years from 2011 for the seminars they have held teaching proper PH Building Science, Envelope Sealing procedures. This was my first introduction to PH standards. Anyone reading this... John has done an extraordinary job renovating his home to be net plus energy. He will be cutting his gas line soon and going all electric and will likely be generating more energy than he needs to operate the home.

Having recently retired, John has a vested interest in entirely eliminating his energy bill - mitigating the risk of rising energy prices (which is only guaranteed to happen). Rising energy prices will not impact John's lifestyle during his retirement years.

Also, John is a huge advocate of conservation and renewable energy. He is delighted to meet with people, do presentations and has done countless tours of his home.
