Nick and his team did a fantastic job on our backyard landscape project. Nick was great to work with and created an amazing design. Our house is a modern design and we wanted to ensure the backyard design would match. It exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Spruceitup!

Fantastic design ideas and great attention to detail. My wife and I have a rough idea of what we wanted and Nick asked great questions and came up with multiple design ideas and created something we are thrilled with and never could have designed! We now spend most evenings on our covered patio enjoying outdoor living.

I had the privilege to closely work with Nick for over a year to design all of the landscaping for our new home we built in Clarendon Hills. Nick developed great design plans for all of our landscaping, including lots of hardscape in our courtyard and driveway in the front our our house as well as the he patio in our backyard. Nick was the ultimate professional and first class. His team always worked so hard during extremely hot conditions and were always kind, respectful, and prompt. I highly recommend Nick to anyone looking to add or improve their landscaping!

Nick and team was excellent to work with and delivered great results. Starting from keeping our appointment for a quote, to start day, to completion, the project went like clockwork. The work was professional and Nick checked in and ensured all aspects of the job was done right. Highly recommend.

Spruce it up did a phenomenal job with our landscaping. We initially came to Nick, the owner with a few ideas of what we had in mind for both back & front landscape areas but not really sure about what we wanted. Nick came back with visual designs in which he incorporated his professional vision with the aspects we wanted as well. The result left us breathless. The entire crew worked fast, efficiently and Nick remained in communication with us when we had questions or wanted anything additional. I don’t think we could have achieved such elegant results from anyone else. So happy with our new back/front patios.

Nick and his crew were super easy to work with from the initial planning and computer mock-up to assisting with necessary permits and choosing materials and through to the work and finished product. He is excellent at communication and very reliable. Each stage of the project was finished when he said it would be. He also was flexible enough so that he could accommodate small design changes on the fly. We highly recommend Nick and Spruce It Up.

Nick came out, surveyed the job, and told me he would provide me with a plan and a quote and then fell off the face of the planet. I emailed him two times afterward to ask for an update, and he never responded. If you don't want the job, just tell me. Completely unprofessional.

We hired Nick to design our backyard patio and pergola. Nick did an amazing job designing a fresh and modern structure that is unique and timeless. It was like hiring a landscaper and designer in one! I was so impressed with his vision and eye for detail and design. Furthermore, nick and his team are extremely responsive, professional, communicative and on time. I have never worked with a contractor that was as honest, trustworthy and helpful as nick. They all went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the final result. I could not give a higher recommendation to spruce it up. They are hands down the best in the business!

Spruce it up is very professional and reliable. Not only did they do a great job reconfiguring my front walkway and porch, they are consistently on point with my routine lawn care year after year. I highly recommend Nick and his team both either for special projects and routine maintenance and lawn care.

NICK AND HIS TEAM HAVE WORKED ON OUR HOUSE IN OAK BROOK FOR 5 YEARS NOW, AND WE HAVE BY FAR THE NICEST LOOKING LANDSCAPING ON THE BLOCK. ALL OF MY NEIGHBORS HAVE USED NICK FOR THEIR HARDSCAPE PROJECTS. THEY DO THE NICEST UNILOCK OF ANYONE I HAVE EVER SEEN! NICK’s TEAM ALSO HANDLES MY WEEKLY MAINTENANCE, AGAIN MY HOUSE ALWAYS HAS THE LAWN AND SHRUBBERY MANICURED JUST PERFECTLY, PLUS WHENEVER I GET A CRAZY IDEA NICK COMES OVER AND TURNS IT TO LIFE.
