Multiple neighbors recommended Mountain View Nursery and Landscaping as we began our search for a reputable and honest landscaper for our residential mountain home. Following up on their endorsement, we went to the Mountain View Nursery and were greeted by an extremely experienced lady named Gail, who assisted us in tagging the exact trees, shrubs and flowers we wanted in our new landscape project. Soon after our nursery visit, a very knowledgeable company owner Harvey Burniston conducted an extensive onsite planning session with us that quickly resulted in him submitting to us multiple renditions our proposed landscape plan. Accompanying the plan was a detailed specification sheet with individual price quotes, a hard timeline to start and complete the project, and a payment schedule. This professional planning process was followed up by a skillful installation crew that met or exceeded all project plan requirements agreed upon by us, plus a few minor extras. We highly recommend Mountain View Nursery and Landscaping for all of those improvements you’ve been dreaming about.

Mountain View totally transformed my blank, weird-shaped backyard and did so much with the lighting on the deck and patio area and curb appeal from the front. I purchased my home late fall 2015. There was bare minimum planting for curb appeal on the front, no foundation plantings and a blank fenced in backyard. Mountain View Nursery added foundation plantings around the side of the house and back fence, extended the front landscaping to finish and upgrade existing plantings and extended outdoor living space with a patio off existing deck in backyard. The design and workmanship are excellent. The project was completed in a very timely manner and within the estimates given for the scope of work. All the plantings are of very good quality. All of the recommendations made by Mountain View for design, plants, and lighting were right on.

I had a wonderful experience with Mountain View Nursery with a project on Watauga Lake. Harvey was the first person I contacted when planning some major improvements on my property. In addition to his landscaping and hardscape expertise he was able to recommend several other professionals in the area that could assist with electrical, site prep, etc. The team at Mountain View did a fantastic job on my landscaping and paver patio. Thanks to his efforts the whole project was painless and, even though I was 2 hours away, I felt comfortable knowing Harvey was keeping an eye on things. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Mountain View Nursery and Landscaping has landscaped my personal residence, several rental properties, my retail business and our vineyard wedding venue. I was given drawings of what the project would look like and a list of all of the plants that were to be used in the plantings. Everything turned out just perfect. Mountain View Landscaping and Nursery installed a patio for us in April of 2015. They were very professional and finished the job in timely fashion. They landscaped the patio and left with everything looking nice for my daughter's wedding. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing this type of work done. They can do any size project.

Mountain View Nursery and Landscaping recently completed a pretty extensive project for us including a large area and sidewalk with pavers, two sets of steps, low voltage led lighting, as well as replacing our shrubbery. We were very pleased with their work and very impressed with their professionalism. They are very hard workers, and their employees are very courteous. We are planning another project this year and looking forward to working with them again. Our original review was done in August, 2014. Last summer, in 2015, Mountain View completed the last phase of our project. They built our patio with outdoor cooking area and firepit. They also replaced our deck flooring with pavers, which turned out great. We also added more Kichler lighting. Once again they did an outstanding job, from start to finish. The end result was exactly what we wanted. They were very thorough in every way and did a good job of cleaning everything up when the job was completed. I would highly recommend them after having a project like ours completed with such professionalism and detail. They are a pleasure to work with in every way, from planning to completion.

We are currently working with Mountain View Nursery on our fourth project in the last three years. If you can dream it Mountain View Nursery can make it happen. Our first project was a round Belgard outdoor room with a fireplace and waterfall. Large plantings were added to fit in to the existing native plants and lighting was added to make it just magical. They have since completed a large lawn area and privacy tree and shrub plantings around the yard. Next was a greenhouse area with Belgard retaining walls and raised planter beds. Irrigation and fencing for the whole property and green house was added. The current project involves building a Belgard retaining wall to create a level space for an entertainment barn and patio. Their plan to replace the driveway and tie the new and existing entertaining areas together in a decorative seamless way is perfect. Great people to work with. They can do it all. We can't recommend them highly enough.
