Lanphear Landscaping and Stone L.L.C has served the Baltimore metro area for the past 25 years. We are a full service landscape design and installation company that builds its pride on creativity and detail. We specialize in combining natural stone with ornamental plant material to provide the clientele the ultimate goal, satisfaction! Lanphear Landscaping is a small business consisting of myself, Stephen Lanphear, and a few skilled landscapers. What this means is that I will personally plan and oversee every step of the landscaping process. You will not receive this specialized attention from most of the larger landscaping companies. With Lanphear Landscaping every step of the way is personalized, from hand selecting ornamental plants and stone to the overall landscape design. No project is too small or too large. With Lanphear Landscaping you will not have to compromise on your landscape's vision.

Steve is a highly thoughtful, reliable and honest landscaper and businessman. We are in our 19th year of working with Steve and we could not be happier with his work. Steve laid out the original landscaping for our property and thought very carefully about color, texture and placement of our landscaping materials. My wife has a particular affinity towards certain colors and shapes, and each year Steve comes up with fresh ideas on how to meet those desires and update our designs. Steve is cost conscious and buys materials in a very cost sensitive manner. We trust him and truly appreciate the pleasure he has given us with our beautiful gardens over the years.

We offer the highest praises for Steve and his crew. They completely renovated our back yard into an oasis in the heart of the city (Federal Hill) where yards are not common. We have enjoyed our outside more than can be expressed. We have a roof deck that seldom gets used due to the wonderful feel of being out side. We are attaching some pictures of the initial work and some more recent ones of the matured yard. We have Steve come back twice a year to spruce up and mulch. Otherwise it is maintenance free. Highly recommend is work.
