I wanted to say a big thank you to Doug and the Hardscapes Team, we love the new retaining walls they look so good and really finish the backyard off nicely. I am always impressed with the guys, they work so hard and not one complaint or moan is ever seen or heard; they seem to enjoy what they do and they work so well together. I really appreciate that they kept the site as clean as possible and made sure to tidy up after themselves. The level of pride and professionalism is very apparent and much appreciated.

We had the pleasure of working with Hardscapes this past spring when we decided to do a new driveway. We couldn't be happier with the job they did and have had many compliments on it. We hired Hardscapes for a new driveway 2 years ago. Entire experience was amazing. All the workers were respectful and very hardworking. Job was completed earlier than planned. 2 years later we are still getting complete strangers complementing us on the beautiful driveway. They did such a great job we hired them the following year to do a patio in our backyard. Fantastic company, fantastic owner and staff. Could not be happier. Well done Doug and crew!

Dear Hardscapes; Thank you so much for the Wonderful work you did on my yard this spring installing a Patio and Fire Pit. I couldn't wait to use it!! I couldn't believe how quickly and professionally everything was done. Plus it was in my price range!! You knew exactly what I wanted in just sending a few emails. You drew up the blueprints and it was done in only 2 Days!!! What?? Everyone loves to come over and the yard hasn't been empty one weekend!!! The neighbors are Jealous and so I told them Call Hardscapes!!!

Hardscapes did a phenomenal job on our backyard! Doug and his team were incredible to work with, and they were extremely creative, dependable, and hard working. We appreciated all of their flexibility and support before, during, and throughout our project. Doug collaborated well with the pool company we worked with, and he went above and beyond to ensure that everything went well with our pool, hardscape, and landscaping. We're thrilled with our backyard project, and credit Hardscapes with the design and magnificence of the final product!

We used Hardscapes Inc. to create a walking path (stairs, etc) connecting the cottage to the water (Falcon Lake). We also created level seating areas and a large fire pit. The staff was great. They showed up on time, and completed the entire project in two days.

A great experience all around. Hardscapes installed a 450 sq ft patio and two planters using barkman roman pavers and roman stackstone. We had a rough idea of what we wanted, and Doug came by in person to create a great plan that complemented the existing yard perfectly. He was responsive by email and brought stone samples in person. Hardscapes was actually the most expensive of the four quotes we received, but we were so impressed by their previous work, reviews, and professionalism in person that we decided to spend the extra money (and are happy we did so!). Once we booked in July, it was about a month before they could come in. Doug came with a bobcat and five person crew, and they completed the patio in one day (save for a couple details that they finished the next morning). We also had them re-grade some of our yard. The crew was professional and cleaned up after themselves, including opening/closing up our fence so the bobcat and materials could get in. They also accommodated a change in which capstones we chose last-minute and without charging extra, which we really appreciated. We've received a lot of compliments on the work from friends and family. If I had to pick a very minor issue, it was that the dirt used in the planters and yard re-grading was riddled with weed seeds that sprouted a heavy carpet of weeds over the next week or so, but in asking around that's apparently typical with bulk dirt. A thorough spray fixed that and now grass is already sprouting. All-in-all, a very tiny detail in what was overall a great project and we'll consider them again in the future.

A very positive experience. We had some definite basic ideas of what we were looking for in our backyard makeover. Doug listened to our requirements, and it was immediately clear that he understood our vision, and offered ideas and suggestions that helped to pull everything together. We did encounter some hiccups along the way due to some unique characteristics of our property that were outside of Doug’s control, but he ‘rolled with the punches’, was always patient with our many questions, and was able to offer some excellent suggestions for resolution. His crew are hardworking, skilled, polite, and always cleaned up at the end of every day. We were so impressed with the final results, that we used Hardscapes for a second, smaller project in our front yard in 2016. VERY satisfied, and would highly recommend to others we know considering projects of this nature. Thank you, Doug, Carla, and all the Hardscapes crew!

Wow! From a completely barren back yard, asking just a few questions about how we wanted to use it, they created a resort like, fully functional patio. A raised bbq area, a sunken gazebo, an eating area, sun tanning, hot tub, and natural gas fireplace. Stepping into our back yard is like stepping into our own backyard oasis. Very professional, very neat and clean, and very creative. We're loving it!

My choice of Hardscapes was made based on the professional advise that I received regarding the project; their excellent web site which clearly shows the quality and character of their work and the price quote which I found to be very reasonable for the task. The team was very skilled and adhered tot he time schedule agreed upon. Subsequent questions that I have had have been addressed. Very satisfied with the work!
