Cotswold Meadows

We've worked with Cotswolds Meadows for 6 years when they took our garden from an overgrown coniferous 'forest' to an established landscaped perennial garden. They executed our garden designer's design and created the start of a journey of evolving the garden as we discover together things that work and things that don't and agree ways to tweak the planting to create improved borders. In lockdown in March 2020, we got to know better the staff looking after our garden and our relationship deepened. Recommended as a great source of knowledge and passionate team.

We worked with Cotswold Meadows for more than a year on a project that completely re-imagined the garden space around our 400-year old thatched cottage. Throughout the project, their professionalism and the quality of their work have surpassed that of any other landscaping firm we have worked with in the past. The project we engaged Cotswold Meadows to perform was fairly complex. In essence, they were required to reshape the earth surrounding our home and guest cottage, and to create a mixed-use area consisting of areas for outdoor dining and entertainment, beds, lawns and pathways. This required extensive paving, building two retaining walls and re-facing a third, building two sets of stairs, and putting up two wood fences. All of this had to be done in a manner sympathetic to its setting beside our Cotswold-stone cottage, while still delivering modern convenience, usability, and durability. Cotswold Meadows succeeded beyond our expectations. The quality of their work is impeccable. In addition, the Cotswold Meadows crew were a pleasure to work with. They were always responsive, always showed up and worked hard. We are delighted with the end result, and Cotswold Meadows are our first and only choice for future projects.

We instructed Cotswold Meadows to undertake a large garden project for us in 2017. The whole team were fantastic throughout, knowledgeable, professional, always liaising with us where necessary over decision making but equally coming up with some great ideas too. The attention to detail in the finish is superb. We were absolutely delighted with the results and our garden continues to give us so much pleasure, In fact, when it came to redesigning our front garden this year, we didn't look anywhere else!
